Just a proper Diamond!
Never mind all that, it’s the dent/ding free parking opposite the door and nicely covered by CCTV and lighting, in a hotel car park that was otherwise crammed with cars.

Diamond member how spectacularly American.
I know that sort of stuff goes down very well in the US but always think us Brits get turned off rather then thinking we must stay at a Hilton to get my rewards

Not bothered about getting a suite, but do appreciate the Exec Lounge access when they have one and free drinks / canapés help the meal allowance go a bit further! The other benefit is the free nights, it depends on where you stay and when but it can take as little 4-6 nights to get a free night or up to 12-15 for a London Hotel in one of their better brands. I’ve stayed 44 nights in the last 6 months.

A) the dimwit has painted the Skoda bit upside down B) why don't they just remove the bit of fence and use the drive (I assume that is a garage behind?) C) dickhead

Nipped out to get my lunch and spotted a Tesla Model X parked at the side of the street, facing oncoming traffic and at a jaunty angle with the back right wheel about a foot onto the pavement. I suppose if you're going to drive something the size of a house while also trying to look cool wearing shades on a very dull day then piss poor parking is inevitable. I bet he still feels smug about his planet saving credentials though.

Shouldn't even have driven it there seeing as its Mot expired in July and it failed its latest test on Friday.

It has failed more MOTs that it has passed and there's often over a year between tests. I thought major defects nowadays meant that the car couldn't be driven away from the test centre?

I was walking back to my car at the local Spar/filling station when a seriously lowered diesel Pug 308 with lime green wheels and loud exhaust pulled up. Chubby, jogging bottom clad chav got out of the driver seat and left the engine running whereupon his chubby bird also hopped out and they went into the shop, engine still running. As I walked past I spotted a baby in a car seat and a 5 year old (ish) standing up looking between the seats.
So anyone want a free car and 2 kids to hold to ransom?

Maybe that's what they're hoping will happen and they'll tell the kidnappers to keep the lot!
They'll regret it once the remember they can't use the drive thru at Macca's anymore, though.

Probably wanting rid of both, a bit like my dad with his A-40.

Our village has grass verges between the pavement and road, like that. I gave absolutely no idea why these are used as parking, as it completely destroys the grass and turns it to mud. Personally I wish the council would bill them for the repairs.

Our old road had those and it was a narrow road built in the 30s. Absolutely nobody parked on the verges apart from the ignorant bitch in the rented house over the road - it sharp turned the verge outside her house into a mud pit. Most of the homeowners took pride in the verges and even mowed them when they mowed their own grass when the council made cutbacks to the number of mowing visits.
