Perhaps push it into a wall.

I moved the van of a BT engineer who left it slap bang across the end of our drive on a Saturday morning once, blocking both cars on our drive. He was visiting a neighbour, why he could not park on or across their drive, I do not know! Anyway he left the keys in it, unlocked, so I started it up and moved it 10 yards down the road. Mrs ALF said there was a lot of sweating and arm waving when he found it had moved, but what did he expect?

I would have moved it to a different street.

Why TF would you not just get in to the edge of the road if you are going to abandon your car like that? Do these cretins think staying well away from the yellow lines means no fines? Or that people will look and think this car is actually driving because its in the road? It'll be the same cretins who think that by parking on the pavement or the verge, and not on the carriageway, that the double yellow lines don't apply to them either.

I couldn't be bothered to get nearer and take a better pic and used digital zoom instead, but the little grey box has been parked in the cycle track part of a width restriction. Also, if a car were to drive right up to where they're supposed to stop for oncoming vehicles the white BMW would probably be blocking their way. Asshats.

The problem with cars getting heavier is that, a bunch of people cannot just pick them up and walk off with them. Poor parking could result in your car being found over the nearest low wall, or in the pond.

Which eejit thought it a good idea to narrow the road there anyway?

No idea, but the cars parked all around it aren't really helping much with the visibility!

Didn't seem happy to see his car being photographed as I was going in, and was bitching to someone about it when I came out. But didn't seem interested in me - was expecting a remonstration.
Seven spaces completely free and next to one another just fifteen paces away.

Why park in one road when you can park in two instead?

I had a rather satisfying experience earlier. I’d stopoed in a town on route home from my parents to get some cash out. The parking spaces available were 45 degrees to the curb and the one available space had a 90s S Class a foot over the line. I was able to get close enough to the Merc and get the nose of my car tucked in with me able to exit as my door was still behind the car on the other side. As I left the car I noticed a fat bastard and his equally fat wife waddling to the Merc and sure enough it was theirs. In fairness he waited patiently while I faffed around getting my cash out and slowly strolled back to my car.

I'd have remembered I needed milk and wandered off looking for some. Perhaps peruse a few magazines whilst in the shop.

Just remembered I saw a van the other day and it had another one from the same company parked about 6 inches from the driver's door. Probably a jolly jape on a work colleague. You could look down the tiny gap and see that the mirrors had a coming together during the manoeuvre!

He must stink as well, to need that many air fresheners.

Went to Tesco in Salisbury today and it has a ridiculous amount of disabled spaces outside. I counted seven cars in the 30 or so spaces that hadn't managed to park between the lines.
Also, when I got back to my car, some old giffer had parked diagonally across the next two spaces and had gone so far back in doing so that he'd gone between the posts and parked halfway on the pavement!

A Saab came off the roundabout and had to immediately stop to let a car coming the other way around both the width restriction and the white BMW et al. Pricks. If I'd been in the Saab I'd have carried on to where I was supposed to stop and see what kicked off.

If there was ever a place for double yellow/red lines. This is one. As it is they no doubt feel justified parking where it is permitted.

They’ve started some works on a road that runs past an industrial estate in our village which has usually got a line of parked cars along it. On Friday evening they set out cones suspending parking, however midway along there was a 208 parked all weekend which I noticed was still there this morning when they were setting up the temporary lights. Apparently there’s been problems all day with cars getting stuck in the roadworks because as they pass through them they cannot get past the parked Peugeot and the line of cars queuing for the lights going the other way. I wonder if Openreach have the authority to get it towed tomorrow.

Astra on double yellow lines that's probably been there all night. No traffic wardens at night innit.

You either have very wide spaces there or the BMW is over the white line on the other side
