On a street near me, I was amused that this was parked outside someone’s house for 2 weeks, on a hill.

Someone had to do it...

Saw that elsewhere.
Apparently it was caught by a 'suspicious' gust of wind! It's caused a massive tailback so anyone expecting a delivery from the East had better prepare for additional delays.

I'd imagine any wind against the side of that is going to cause problems. Time to fill the car up as the prices are going to go one way!

Well, yes except the one that the photo is taken from appears to have managed to stay pointing the right way!

I think it’s been there a while already. You can make out the tiny excavator digging at the bow.

I think they're saying it'll be Thursday before they try to get it free.
The Egyptian authorities issued a statement about the 'delinquent' ship but also suggested that news media check their sources properly before reporting. I think that's a dig because there are some reports saying that the steering of the ship had been hacked, presumably that's from conspiracy theorists.

Not the first time this has happened, but the first time it has directly impacted on me; I was coming back from the dogs' tea-time walk, but this had been here for at least an hour before that (according to Herself, who had returned from a night away round about then). If it happens again, words are going to be had. The snooty little cow who drives it doesn't even live there any more, her dad has an Evoque (leased, we think) and a 10-ish year old TT he parks on the kerb (it's just visible at the rear-end of the Cashcow) which would easily fit on his drive behind the Evok. The wife told us a while ago the TT is "his baby", but he won't park it on his drive incase our next door neighbour's friend parks there when he visits - which is about 3 times a year!! Anyway, the picture .. .. .. different sided diceMoving on from the Cashcow of last year, now the son-in-law has moved up to an 'R'-line Toerag.
Still can't park the fucker though!!!

I love that logic: "I'll park my pride and joy in the street in case someone temporarily parks outside my house"

I think a nice climb over the bonnet might be in order

It'd be nice to find it unlocked sometime you're walking with the dog and open the rear door to walk through it.

I love that logic: "I'll park my pride and joy in the street in case someone temporarily parks outside my house" And also parks slightly over his neighbours drive as well. Seems like a complete tosser

I love that logic: "I'll park my pride and joy in the street in case someone temporarily parks outside my house" And also parks slightly over his neighbours drive as well. Seems like a complete tosser The TT was taken away on a tow truck on Monday - again! Last time it was the gearbox and also needed a new clutch. No idea what's wrong this time, but fingers crossed it's going to get him to sell it!

This is the kind of stuff I have to put up with on a regular basis: At least this only lasted for a few minutes: taken from the front window of my house, we are almost on a T-junction between the major side road that leads to the main road, and the "secondary" side road in which I live. The C-Max is parked on the junction, a short boat ride away from the kerb (it's one of the neighbours shuffling cars around on his driveway but he won't park in a safe place). We often get van drivers parking half across our driveway even when the space outside our house is free, just to save walking those extra few yards; ASDA vans delivering to the neighbours are repeat offenders; 2 weekends ago it was a marked police car visiting the neighbours the other side when the man of the house suddenly passed away in the early hours, but I would have thought that the police would have known better than to obstruct someone's driveway when there was lawful parking available

Damn them, arriving for a sudden death and being less concerned where they park than about the poor dead guy and how his death came about.

The neighbour said that the police admitted totally over reacting to the death of her husband, they did not need to attend but one of her children who lives a long way off contacted them in panic after her mum had broken the news to her and they responded inappropriately. She had enough to content with, paramedic and ambulance, barking dog, and 2 police cars of officers was unnecessary. She has received an apology. Her husband was not a well man and his passing was anticipated.....but they thought he had a few more months to go
