Currently, yes. I like it and it is pretty trouble free transport, minor issue aside. I'll probably look to change to something else prior to the ICE ban in 2030.
What that will be, I don't know, but it will either be SUV or pickup and most likely a hybrid - that is if they are still being produced/sold, rather than full electric if possible.

Good that it's fixed. Re the service, it seems that Mitsubishi dealers still know how to charge.
I reckon PHEV commercial vehicles are going to be a big thing - still the tax benefits of a commercial vehicle, but very hard to ban from cities and ULEZ etc.

The servicing cost didn't seem too bad to me, not as it included changing the transfer box oil, but it depends on the service intervals I guess.
I've had 3 services in 24k miles (another due in 9k miles), all were between £640-£660. Oil dilution due to short journeys is a bit of an issue with the V8 diesel and I do a couple a week (7 miles each way). Service intervals are 16k miles/12 months, it managed 13k the first time, then 11k and will be around 9-10k this time I think.
Anyway...back to the topic....good news it's fixed and you got decent service Mark.

Service intervals are 12 months or 12500 miles, so not that bad really.
I get very little oil dilution due to regens of the DPF, so must be doing something right.

Finished on the farm, so it got a much needed muck out. The red paint had faded quite badly on the roof and bonnet so I was forced to give it a proper going over. The roof really needs the machine on it - Super Resin has done a great job by hand though.

Looks shiny, are you happy to have finished the farm work?

It’s like Fireman Sam’s weekend runabout.

Looks shiny, are you happy to have finished the farm work? It has been a long two months since I was there every day and from November to March every other day, but the reward of seeing the cows and calves out on grass makes it worth it. Extra pennies always help too. I'm hoping I'll be on the tractors for the other farm again over summer.

It’s like Fireman Sam’s weekend runabout. It looked more like Barbie's weekend runabout before polish. I can't recommend Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax at all. After a quick Google, it appears there are no UV stabilisers in it at all so no good for solid colours. I'll stick with Autoglym SRP and HD Wax.

Truckman have irrited me. The canopy was showing as "in stock", but this has turned into a 3 month factory order. I hate it when companies do this.

Almost as bad is when companies show something as "out of stock", and when you try to order it they really meant "actually never to return to stock". Just take it off the bloody website guys.

I'll run it for the winter without anything over the back. I've got my bits and bobs in an army Zarges box I picked up for a song at the LRO show a few years ago.
The holes that were drilled for the "Sports Styling Bar" as Mitsubishi called it, have been greased and filled with some grommets until the canopy arrives.

Finally, the canopy arrived yesterday. Fitted with the help of a couple of mates. All wired up today - central locking on upper tailgate, interior light and heated rear screen along with an actuator to make the lower tailgate lock as well. Work lights installed on the roof rails which I think are purely cosmetic as the brackets are plastic. Overall I'm happy and it makes life in the winter a damn sight easier.

The truck top looks good, being coloured the same as the car and with the sloping rear window.

I am happy overall with it, but I was less than impressed when the interior light packed up this morning and I noticed the misalignment of the rear tailgate glass. It is as even as manufacturing tolerances allow front to back and side to side, but it is clear the glass needs adjusting as it has been installed about 10mm out. The interior light it fixed - it was a sticky latch and some lubricant has fixed it for now. I was also not impressed that they refused to discuss it over the phone and insisted on email. Their standard contact response is 24 working hours (4 days), but to be fair they got back to me in under an hour. I am waiting to hear back from their "Senior Technician".

Just serviced the brakes. At the official service in January I was advised that there was about 6 months left on them. Maybe they should have been a little more circumspect with their estimate. Got my money's worth though. Two years and about 20k miles.

Is that a semi-transparent pad I can (just about) see ??

Yes, there was nothing left of the inner pad on both sides.
I had no warning of them being down until I got metal on metal as there aren't any squealers on the pads.
The new pads have squealers so they shouldn't get that bad again.
