The wife and I have just discovered Santa Clarita Diet, starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Oliphant.
Always loved Drew Barrymore, one of the most naturally beautiful women ever.

For anyone that has enjoyed Vice Grip Garage on YouTube I see that Roadworthy Rescues is now on Discovery.
I’ve not watched it yet, but if you like Derek it should be ok.

Mrs WW has us watching "Under the dome", I think it's awful She seems to have forgotten about the ridiculous "Orphan Black". When I get the telly I like "Bangers and cash."

I recorded and later watched a documentary on Sky Arts on Virgin a while back called "Tomorrow is a long time" featuring Chrissie Hynde singing Bob Dylan songs into her phone during lockdown and cooperating with others on line and over the phone to make an album called "Standing in the doorway" which I bought on CD and enjoy. Unfortunately our Virgin box went faulty and had to be replaced so I've lost the recording of the documentary and it isn't on on demand on Virgin. I've Googled but it doesn't seem to be available to buy or watch or download anywhere in the UK other than on Sky where it can be watched or downloaded to a pc. I thought I'd sign up to their dishless service to download it but they say the broadband in my area isn't up to it so I've pretty much come to a stop and thought I'd ask here. If anyone has Sky and can watch on their pc, would someone be willing to download the documentary for me and put it on a CD? I'll pay expenses and buy you a drink I don't know if this is legal or not... but I have tried and can't find it for sale anywhere. Here's hoping. Good News! It's on Sky Arts again on Sunday 30th April so I'll record it again. I can't record in on to a disk though.

Went to see the greatest band on Earth last night (😉) and missed the Arsenal thanks to the Met Police forcing the game to be moved. Whatever they were as fab as ever they were. Both. 20 or so years ago I went to see the Stones at Twickenham thinking I’d better see them whilst I could. In time relative terms that’s about the same as seeing Duran Duran last night. The Stones were at Hyde Park last summer so I look forward to seeing the boys from Brum in the 2040s.

Not a particular fan of DD, but sounds like you had a good night.

Sat watching the coronation.
I'm not really a republican and I'm not a die hard royalist fan either. My thoughts on this are just... My God this is boring.

Went to see the Boss, Bruce Springsteen at Murrayfield last night and it was a great show. How a man of 72 can put on a full 3hr show without a break is amazing. The first 5 songs (at least) also just ran into each other with his only words being 1,2,3,4 as the band went straight to the next song. The saxophone playing was also magnificent.
The last 45 minutes in particular were epic.

Seems half the people on my FB friends list were there last night!
We saw him a Hampden a number of years ago - same reaction then!

Just watched the latest Grand Tour and as much as the antics were as usual it did rather make me want to visit some of the parts of Eastern Europe they travelled through.

We've been stuck for something to watch so we rewatched True Detective and then carried on and watched the second series which had nothing to do with the first either plot or character wise. I remember liking the first but not the second but this time I did like the second series too.
Both are worth a watch if you haven't seen them before.

Watching the film US Marshals and wondered if the buggered an airframe for the crash scene. Turns out they did not, it was TWO airframes the buggered. I wonder how much longer they will be allowed to do that and generally blow shit up, deferring to the environmental damage and all that.....

I expect in the future it'll all be done by AI.
We've started watching a series called "Unforgettable" on Amazon about a lady detective with a medical condition causing her to remember everything. The rather attractive lead lady is I believe Australian.
It isn't great and I'm tiring of it already but we seem to have run out of movies on Amazon and the latest ones on Virgin rarely interest us.

Went to watch Oppenheimer last night and really rather enjoyed it. Well worth seeing but I had to get past the Barbie party that was going on at the Cinema last night!

My mate’s wife was there last night with her new gay friend. I’m thinking about getting one for my wife, he says it’s brilliant, this guy takes on all the stuff he hates to do, shopping trips, Barbie premier, interior decorating, antiquing etc. It’s like having your own sub you can bring off the bench when you need to do something else.

We've watched the 1st two series of "Warrior" which is about a kung fu guy in San Francisco in the olden days. It's very violent with lots of fight action with hands, feet and weapons which looks to me to be very well done but there are also quite a lot of sex scenes so it may not suit anyone who doesn't like one or the other. The third series has just today (Friday) become available on catch up so anyone who wants to binge watch three series can. I think this series is amongst the most repeatedly violent I've seen. The only things I can thing of off the top of my head which compete for repeated violence are maybe a few movies, The Raid, Bone Tomahawk and Brawl in Cell Block 99 spring to mind but maybe I've had a sheltered life

We watched "From" which is about people stuck in a small town with lots of nastiness happening. We watched series 1 and 2 and are hoping for more and to an end to the story.
It's sort of like "Lost" I suppose with some quite creepy bits too.

Watching the Brawn GP documentary on Disney. Finding it enjoyable and very interesting seeing the views of the different players in the drama. Still on episode 3, will finish it later.
