Is the sky lounge roof different to a standard Panoramic roof, seems very pricey

I wouldn't have the golf on the basis of the touchscreen alone.

The S4 has a lever to manually move a flap forward to increase bootspace and then won't let you put the roof down to prevent idiocy!

I got shingles in my early 20s thinking I was invincible working through a cold and doing crazy hours. I had it across my face, was in agony for a month with constant headache/nerve pain looking like John Merrick, and was very lucky to save my eyesight (just a little scar tissue left)
I still get a shingle tingle in my forehead if I start to get rundown, or if I come into contact with someone with chicken pox

I got used to the silent starts in the c class which was another phev....but still remember the wonderment at the silent progress especially in traffic. I am now so used to it the stop/start systems seem really unrefined by comparison

I was part of an IPO when they floated Royal Mail. They ran a scheme where employees could invest in shares upto a limit. Maybe you could see if they plan to do something like that?

Either find a member, or I suspect you will be eligible in your own right. Own business, member of a profession or certain companies Inc civil service, NHS etc www.costco.co.uk/membershipWe save the £30 a year membership on catfood alone but you can go to the desk and say you are thinking of joining and they will give you a pass to have look (but not purchase)

I believe it to be so, yes. I know Mrs M checked against the usual suspects and it was a bit cheaper - plus I'll get 2% cashback on the membership card

Bloody hell that is quite the collection - amazing! We need a forum meet when such things are allowed - I absolutely love 928's - they were the Super GT to have when I was first driving, and I have always had a huge soft spot for them, it would be amazing to see what they are really like... Indeed, that new drive your old man's motor museum is opening near me soon

To be fair she is more likely to sneak in a 18th century book on Women's health....which are entirely much easier to hide than a car😂

What a fantastic garage. Something that size could only ever be designed by a true car nut. ....with an understanding wife Although she has promised to match me £££ on fitting out her library complete with secret doors😂

And an amazing garage too. Thank you, it may even have proper electric supply next week! My tactic to chivvy up the builder is to stuff the garage full of cars, seems to be working😂😂

Looks really smart. I love the black with a black pack. And really top notch with the silver wheels and no privacy glass. So much nicer than the usual drug dealer wheels and glass option. Be really interested to see how you get on with the PHEV. Thanks, the Phev is great, silent in traffic, loads of power when needed, 3cyl thrum when pressing on, just enough leccy for a 30 miles round commute. Did high 30s on pure petrol mode on a run with tight engine. Overall really impressed so far

Easter was a busy time for both clearing garage space and sorting out the fleet
The Audi is now running well following a set of Michelin PS4 and a 4 wheel alignment - just the exhaust to sort out
On Friday I made the essential journey to Doncaster to meet the friend who has been looking after the Lotus and bought that back home - cue lots of projects I have lined up when I have the time and funds
Funds will be a problem from now on as I treated myself to another S4 on Easter Saturday - trekking down to Laverstoke, nr Newbury to view a 928 and coming home with that, so that makes 2 S4s in the garage!
So I now have a combined total of 33 cylinders, 1460bhp and 1932NM torque (plus a sizeable insurance and tax bill - bring on road pricing!)
One day the 911 will come up from Mum's to complete the set - that is most definitely it on the car purchase front for a while!

So after an epic 3 month wait for the DVLA to sort out the paperwork for the emissions the Evoque finally arrived on Thursday before the bank holiday. I was a bit worried having never driven the phev version but the good news is it is brilliant. Really swift, very refined on the motorways, rides really well on the 18s. Mrs M can commute to and from work almost entirely on the leccy, just got to sort a home charger. The full leather and toys really lift the interior, so really happy with my choice. Good job as I put nearly 800miles on it over the first weekend sorting out the fleet.

Looks like a cracking motor and having recently been down to Laverstoke to pick up the 928, you have some very nice roads around Newbury to Whitchurch to enjoy it on 👍

1961 Merc 190 SL in totally mint condition. Worth a few quid I would guess. I looked at chopping in the 911 for one of those about 7 years ago, it was £30k and the 911 was about £20k. I guess they are worth a little more these days!

All the toys are pre 2006 so c£330 a year each in tax, insurance ranges from £135 for Elan through to c£280 for the 911.
The Yeti is c£140tax and about £250 to insure
