Really surprised at how many Land Rovers and Range Rovers I’ve seen while back in Dublin. They are almost as common as pickups are where we just moved from. Speaking of pickups, there’s a decent amount of Ford Rangers here too. And they look like a larger vehicle here, where they were considered a small vehicle in the US.

N reg Volvo 960 Estate in front of me in traffic. Couldn't get over how small it looked on the road, they always seemed a large car. Barely bigger than a Focus estate now.

On Saturday I saw a Laguna II estate and a Nissan Tino within a couple of miles, both must be rare spots these days

I owned a green mk1 2.0 for a while, it was a great car, very comfy.

I had a Mk 1 Laguna as a hire car for a week from Newcastle airport, a few days after it was launched in the UK... was a pleasant experience, a world away from the 21 that it superseded

Christmas grille anyone? Stopped at the local supermarket on the way home from work this evening and saw across the car park some flashing lights. Not sure if they are wired up to continue flashing when the car is in motion, but it had gone by the time I had done my shopping

No idea what they were smoking but, I hope they enjoyed it.

I think they waved the boundary goodbye a long time ago.

Was followed home by a new M5 which looks good in white. Also saw an 8 series- they seem to be quite a rare car. I only saw one in Silicon Valley in the past year and have only seen one in Dublin, so not sure what sort of numbers BMW are selling.
I forgot that I also saw a 12 year old Zafira today with a quad exhaust on it. Really not sure what the driver was thinking as it was horrific.

An oldie, a 1986 Alpina B10 the other day. It was being driven the way it should be driven and was very clean.

Spotted in a bodyshop compound in Kirkcaldy, a Vauxhall Cavalier Calibre. Under streetlights from 150 yards it looked in reasonable condition.

Some weird 4 door convertible Cadillac: That’s not a convertible, just a padded vinyl roof, which used to be quite common on cars like Cadillacs and Lincolns.

Landau vinyl roofs. Very popular in the 70s and 80s.

Well finally I've seen one in the flesh, I'd been told there was one in the area but it had always eluded me.....a Porsche Carrera GT!

Saw a new Audi E-Tron GT today. It looks better in the metal than I expected.

I’m at a site right next door to JLR engineering in Coventry and there are quite a few disguised cars parked outside, good view into the main area they park them from the office I’m in. There are a few that must be the new RR Sport, but also a couple that look iPace shaped, assume there’s a facelift on its way?

A Lister Stealth which was anything but stealthy. I actually quite liked it.

I’m on Scimitar Way.

Someone at the school has a new Porsche Cayenne and it’s a higher end model. Considering they lost at between €90,000 and €190,000 here, it’s a lot of money to be parked in the school car park.

I think I’ve only ever seen 2 of these in Ireland. The other one was around the time they were first launched.
