Proper old Ac Cobra. there were a number of other Cobras today too but this is the only one I got a photo of. apparently there’s a club that meets every Saturday morning up where I’m staying.

Yes and yes. Only the second I’ve seen on the road.

I was following something yesterday morning that had a full width rear light and the way the ends folded round made me think of a crushed staple, albeit with a long bar in the middle (I hope all you office workers are now using the stapler with no paper in to see what I mean). Anyway, my powers of car identification are clearly waning because I had no idea which brand it was until we stopped at a roundabout and I could read the word 'Cupra'.
To confuse matters slightly there was a car 2 ahead with exactly the same lights and it was a SEAT Leon. So much for brand differentiation.....

I was heading over the Kingston Bridge earlier and passed a transporter full of 71-plate Porsches. A 911, couple of Macan's and another two Taycans (I think) - on their way to Porsche Glasgow I thought.

Yes and yes. Only the second I’ve seen on the road. I seem to recall them sounding pretty sweet.

I saw a gold Volvo 460 at the weekend that appeared from a quick glance to have been stanced' (is that the right word for lowered, on bigger alloys and with lots of negative camber?) with the tyres stretched across the alloys in that awful Euro look. Happily it was going the other way so I couldn't have a proper look.

A pair of i-paces escorted by a couple of Black Rats at a local Park & Ride this morning; obviously COP26 delegates.
A bit 'greener' than the half-dozen assorted 7-series and big Audis I saw yesterday morning at the same place, with half a dozen bike escorts!

Been in Ireland for 24 hours and have already seen as many BMW 8 series here as I saw in the last 10 months in Silicon Valley. Also saw an ID4, I’ve only seen one of them across the pond too. Interesting noticing that the majority of the cars are the same, due to the heavy influx of Korean manufacturers. The only difference is that Citroen’s and Renault’s replace GMC and Dodge, haven’t seen any Tesla’s either. They’re like Harry Potters street they’re so common in CA. .
There are a lot fewer pickups here, but that really goes without saying.

From memory the tests stated that they were fine motors, just lacking in soul.

Incredibly I saw 3 Honda NSXs on Saturday - a new one and 2 original ones. The new one looked a little wide for the country roads it was on and one of the originals was in a town centre just coming out of an M&S carpark.
I also saw a very early Lancia Beta Coupe making good progress on the motorway yesterday.

Saw these two parked together and had to take a photo of the early heyday and possible nadir of the British motor car manufacturing industry. Not fair on the Metro but I ran out of ideas.

The A35 looks like it has been lowered. Yes: it certainly is. True to the era the body work is bubbly everywhere.

3 G-Wagons this morning, all AMG, maybe one was a Brabus, all driven by women of a certain look, welcome to the Weybridge morning school run!!
New Defender is the school run weapon of choice too, see loads of them in the mornings, all driven by women.
