What have you seen out and about on the roads that has interested interested you?

I saw my first new E Class Coupe today as it sat in queuing traffic outside the office on the 30mph dual carriageway. It's quite a handsome car and its darkened windows hid Racing's pet hate of the small quarterlight at the rear. What struck me was that the side profile looked remarkably like the A5 Sportsback but without the rear doors - it certainly looks long enough to take an extra couple of doors: it was one car ahead of an XF and it looked every bit as big. It is not a small coupe!

I saw a bright yellow Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS this morning. It needs a bigger bootlid for the badge and the colour was extremely awful.

I saw a Saab 9-3 wagon in what appeared to be streetwise/allroad/cross country trim. I didn't know they even did those!

I saw a Hyundai Ionic last night (in daylight). I thought it was a Prius initially. Have the aerodynamicists settled on that being the ideal shape?

I think some manufacturers think a hybrid/PHEV/fuel cell vehicle has to look wilfully "futuristic". But in a "it looked great as a motor show concept but this is the closest we could manage" way. The Pious being probably the worst example.

Is the wheel clamp to prevent theft or is it parked where it shouldn't be?

There is an i8 just round the corner from me but it has been parked since I moved here in October and appears to never move.

images of high qualityOne of these heading North on the A9 this afternoon. We were heading home, but it was in sight long enough to see it was in relatively good external condition, and was wafting along at a fair old lick too!

458 Aperta Spider in yellow yesterday and the bright green Aventador SV which I have posted before, however until yesterday I hadn't realised that it was a Roadster; sunny day and roof off.

In Guildford on Saturday - an open-top McLaren. Sounded great but due to the traffic gridlock, it was slower than me down the Woking Road (over about half a mile), and I was walking! It did sound glorious though
... oh, and one of those new MG SUV things too, from the back..... didn't look too unusual from that view

I've now seen a new Honda Civic. I wish I hadn't, what were they thinking?

I saw a Pug 208GTI in that red/black colour scheme. Awful, it would work better if they were both the same 'texture'.

An Ariel atom out having fun, unfortunately I was in the allroad so couldn't 'play' not that the gt4 would keep up ,but it would have been fun.

Yesterday in London - a yellow 458 Italia and then a yellow 458 Speciale with white and grey stripes down the front; a blue Huracan and a very nice-looking metallic light grey Huracan Spider.

Just in a car park and a grotty Clio parks up. I notice the clearly homemade roof rack bolted through the sheet metal with nuts and bolts rather than use the proper clamp on one at the strengthened rails. Hope he doesn't carry anything heavy!

Just seen a Fiat Doblo XL which has to count as one of the weirdest things on the road.

I keep seeing the facelifted Leon Cupra I mentioned in the other place. It is a 17 reg (now I've looked) and is usually being driven in a twattish manner. Sounds alright for a four pot, though...

Must be the car, as I drove mine like a twat, too. Obviously. I think mine was a subconscious effort to kill the thing because I hated it? I only did it on the open road, though, not down busy residential streets like this clown. Anyway, pot, kettle, black an' all that, I'd better shut up now!

A white Matra-Simca Rancho. Beat the white SUV brigade by several decades...

An oldish X5 earlier this afternoon which had been de- or un-badged at some point but, instead, now has 4X4 on the left of the tailgate and 'sport' on the right. Both from Halfords I think! Lovely.

I've been in Silicon Valley for the last few days and saw about 100 Teslas. They are everywhere there, and they were every model too. Also saw a BMW I8, a Mercedes G63 AMG and every kind of Porsche. Rarest sight was probably the Lotus Exige I parked beside the other night.
We had a lovely Neesahn Sentra as a rental. Actually not too bad as a white good, but certainly not something I'd consider owning.
Also, it is always the Prius...

An immaculate Sierra Cosworth 4x4 on the M40 yesterday, which looked completely original apart from an awful 4x4 badge on the boot lid which was much bigger than the other badges. Why?!

A Guards Red 996 GT3 out on the open road and a black Huracan Spyder being driven fairly considerately through Cheltenham town centre.

We had a parade of Italian supercars pass through our village earlier. This included an F40, a red Diablo an Alfa 8C and McLaren 650S among the usual suspects (F430s, Gallardos etc). I was driving down to the hardware store at the time so didn't get to stop for pictures,
