One I’ve never seen in the metal but distinctly remember reading the road test years ago in Autocar. A Subaru SVX, complete with the bizarre side windows that aren’t suitable for American drive thrus. I always had quite a liking for those. I see a few around here, but we do have an unusual density of Subaru dealers in these parts.

Best thing I can say is, "At that price the best view is from inside".

Yesterday I saw a red 991.2 GT3 when I was out test driving a Lotus Exige, and on the way home in the GT4 I saw an Agate Grey 991.2 GT3 Touring going the other way, followed closely by a black Aston Martin DB11.

Is it me but there seems to be a ridiculous number of db11s around here ,I literally see 3 or 4 every time I go out .

I should probably post this in the 'villain' thread but at some services around Preston (probably) I saw a Bentley Bentgayer in 2 tone - creamy green on top, bright metallic green below. It was so tasteless that I called Mrs Tim and her brother out of the van to take a look. It certainly made us all laugh!

One of a few moderns I would consider.

I've seen 2 so far and both in the metallic green that a lot of the press cars had.

I forgot that I noticed, when driving through Europe, quite a lot of the newer trucks had cameras instead of door mirrors.

I forgot that I noticed, when driving through Europe, quite a lot of the newer trucks had cameras instead of door mirrors. All of the new ones I’ve been buying over the last year have had cameras that cover the major blind spots at the front and side of the unit, but they’ve all got normal mirrors as well. The urban units we buy have windows in the lower part of the door as well, like a McLaren Senna!

I've seen a foreign tractor without mirrors at all. I think it was a Mercedes.

Is it legal. I thought that manufacturers had wanted to replace mirrors with cameras for years to improve aerodynamics but were not allowed.

Audi offer the option of cameras-only on their electric SUV thing.

I like it in the pictures, but not so much out on the road now I’ve seen one, the proportions and stance aren’t good.

An immaculate red original NSX. It was seriously well kept and is still a good looking car.

No pictures but a BMW X7 a few days ago, the thing was huge, the grille was huge, it looked bloody awful.

Saw a Lamborghini Aventador in matt olive drab this morning. I assume it was one of the go faster versions as it had a rather large wing attached.

Came back to the car yesterday in Glasgow and there was a brand new Cayman GTS sitting beside it in canary yellow with lots of carbon bits and wheels that look like the 911 Turbo's. Very nice although I would have to have a less shouty colour.

It's about £70k. An Izuzu Arctic Truck is £50k in the UK.
