For a brief moment on the run up to Christmas, I considered selling it whilst used values have increased. I no longer need a diesel as my mileage is less than a quarter of what it was, so my thoughts turned to an Audi S4 B5. The proper meaty V8 one, as they are down to about 4k now.
But, I'd just be changing for the sake of changing, so I decided to lavish some care and attention on the Flying Briefcase instead, hence the new wheels, as my old MV2s were getting very tatty. There's a massive possibility it will be getting a remap very soon.

Still looks good, where did the ding in the wheelarch come from?

That's not a ding, just a reflection I think. At least I hope so...

I don't think I've posted a picture of my current trio: The M3 will be 14 in April, the Cayman turned two in November and the Yaris will turn two in June. Currently I do about 2500 miles per annum in each of them. The Cayman would be the last to go. The Yaris is a giggle. The M3 is charming.

That’s a nice trio, shame they’re so tricky to park! I don’t think we’ve ever seen a picture of the Yaris.

I took those pictures when I was hastily rearranging them on my drive/in my single garage, there's a parking area opposite my house which is rarely used!
I had the Yaris ceramic coated in October and the detailer posted some really good pictures of it on his facebook page. The BMW got ceramic coated in November (again, pictures on the facebook page) and the Cayman gets done next weekend.
The detailer is called Defining Detail and is local to me. The work is very good and (I think) reasonably priced. The more time I spend with the Yaris, the more I enjoy it. It certainly isn't perfect, but it is really characterful and properly quick.

Good to see a Yaris GR that isn't white or red.

Nice photos Dan . Love the variation
Dunno if it’s my phone but your Yaris looks almost dark green in the clean pics

From some angles it is a good BRG facsimile.

Until August last year, I generally drove them in weekly rotation or similar. At the moment I am driving the Yaris more than the others, and the Cayman probably the least. But that will change in about March once the temporary job that I am currently doing comes to an end.
They Yaris is the most economical and is more suitable than the Cayman would be.

There’s a thread for that parking.

^^^ They were literally parked there for about two minutes! I'm not going to park them right next to each other when I'm just hopping between cars and rearranging them!

It's a 19th century millhouse and cottage that is undergoing refurbishment, they just need the delicate touch of a demolition crew to remove some walls and fireplaces.

Finally managed to take a photo myself instead of having to rely upon the dealer's advertising shots (been a busy car cleaning day today) Apart from a couple of small marks on some of the door edges, the only blemish I have found so far is a badly touched-up stone chip on the bonnet (top centre, in the photo below), not bad at all for a 40 month old car

There's a 4-series BMW near us in a not entirely dissimilar colour, although rather darker hue. I like it.

As I parked the car at the weekend, I realised it was sitting at 165,000 km. As it’s only 6 years old, that’s a healthy total to have. Am taking it to the repairers early next week to get estimates for the damage from the crash a few weeks ago. They are too far from where I work to have gotten there sooner unfortunately.
