Any number of Buy to Let landlords will be queuing up for it. Oi! I resemble that particular demographic. Well, if the Peaky Blinders flat cap fits…..😀

Bigger tyres would help but I really can't get on with the 2 bling grilles. Perhaps if the lower one was black it'd be easier. Yes, the grille is a little marmite, but I actually don't mind it and it looks a lot better in person than photos.

Autobiography is always a good decision. I would change the wheels, though.

Picked it up this afternoon and very happy with it. The interior is immaculate. There are a couple of marks in the paint that I noticed on collection that I didn't when I initially looked at it, but for a 12 year old car and the money paid, I can't complain.
My phone can't see the Bluetooth module - this is a common issue apparently, but the dongle I bought for the iPod port streams music over Bluetooth from my Android phone and I can use the steering wheel controls to change tracks. I just don't have phone connectivity for calls which, to be honest, I can live without but would be nice to have working so have taken a punt on a replacement Bluetooth module.
Initial thoughts are that it is a very nice place to be. Supremely comfortable, despite the 22 inch wheels. It has some serious grunt for such a large, heavy car too which is nice.
Wheels are desperate for a refurb which I did know about - this will happen in the spring along with some less budget orientated tyres.
Towbar has been ordered along with dedicated electric kit and I need a dog guard as well. A set of rubber mats would be nice (shag pile isn't really that practical). Lindsey also wants a set of OEM style side steps which is handy as it will hide the fact a jacking point cover has fallen off one of the sill covers.
It may need a rear height sensor as it seems to sit a little low on the driver's side rear - not by much, but my mate who drove me down noticed it on the motorway. I will try a calibration first.
My first experience of voodoo cruise as well. Odd at first, but quite nice and relaxing when I got used to it.

I hope this isn't sign of what is to come, but it wouldn't start this morning. Battery voltage was only 12.2-12.3 and it started fine after a jump and alternator was charging.
I charged the battery and it lost charge very quickly. I phoned the dealer and he has refunded me the cost of a new Varta AGM battery. I can install it and code it to the car using my iCarsoft.
I don't think there is a parasitic drain - he told me he hasn't had to charge or jump it at all if true.

Let's hope that your three things and you can get on and enjoy it!

I like the wheels - they've grown on me quite a lot. I thought I'd read they were scuffed and needed refurbed - looking back, it seems not!

Looks very shiny!
All the websites / Youtubers say that L322's are hugely sensitive to battery issues - starting, warning lights, suspension issues etc etc. So hopefully a new battery will solve any problems that might have arisen.
A decent set of rubber mats are a great investment. Also, does it have a rubber / plastic boot liner? Very useful for carting stuff and wet dogs.

They are on the shopping list. Off to the LRO show and Duckworths will be on the list to visit as they stock all the new old stock genuine LR stuff.

The Range Rover fits perfectly in to its surroundings in those photos. I hope you have many happy miles but even if you don't, I am sure you will enjoy the repair work!

I'm realistic. A 12 year old Range Rover is going to throw some niggles at me, but I am prepared to sort them.

Well worth the effort, it looks great.
I bought my car from Duckworths, they do seem to be the place to go for genuine parts.

Did you have the suspension in a wading (?) setting for the photos because there's a lot of gap in the front arches in particular?

Glad you're enjoying it Mark regardless of the niggles. One thing I've always wondered with them though, what is the little knob below the armrests for? I assumed it was to adjust it fore and aft but surely just having it slide is a simpler solution.

My D2 had them too, as does the New Holland I am currently leading hay with.
The New Holland has broken down - less than 300 hours on the clock and I have no hydraulics. It's not a great advert for the brand.
Mechanic was supposed to turn up about 5pm but I haven't heard a thing. It's a hire tractor from the local dealer so at least it isn't our issue. Rear end sight glass is an interesting colour.

I've got my usual summer excuse for not washing the car at the moment - constant back and forth of tractors with trailers alternating between fully laden with grain or empty. All travelling at something close to the speed of light though! Most of them look as if they've done somewhat more than 300 hours though.

Height (angle really) adjustment I think it’s a “Range Rover feature” - all my father’s original-shape Range Rovers had them, back to the first which was a 1991 Vogue SE.

New AGM battery and I've also put a starter in it. Towbar and 13 pin electrics have also been fitted as well.
All ready for the LRO show next weekend. Just need to sort a leaky fuel filter - it's coming out of the water sensor so really easy to sort.

Made it to Belvoir Castle for LRO2023. Range Rover was fantastic. Shopping list is a set of mats and some 20" wheels and tyres if I can find any.

Just had a quick google of the event also - looks fun - hope you find everything you’re looking for and enjoy the event.
As mentioned I grew up in the area and worked in pubs nearby (Redmile) during school holidays so know it pretty well.

I should think it barely knew the caravan was behind it. Presumably far easier going than with the Mitsubishi?
