That first one is very black! Looks a bit oppressive inside for my liking. The "private seller" takes debit cards and will provide a full MOT at time of sale - sounds like a masquerading dealer to me.
I've seen the second one, but dismissed it due to lack of history for the last 6 years. If they had mentioned that they had all the receipts detailing work by the local garage then it would have been worth a look.
Is it me, or is the Autotrader Android app a pain - if I click on a link, it won't show me the location or give me the full app menu - I have to shut the app down and I only get the car location on the computer unless it comes up in a specific search. It's a little annoying.

I reckon that last one could be worth a call, as I suspect the owner probably has a box full of receipts. It looks very tidy
Yes the AT app is a pain, I can only find location info from the search results but not in the ad itself!!

It does look tidy, but the mismatched cheap tyres would concern me and not just because they would all need to be replaced

I noticed the budget tyres. No adaptive cruise either.

I see that these are all Euro5 for emissions.
The Scottish ULEZ cities all require Euro6 for diesels - it might not be a concern given its use but worth bearing in mind if you do intend to use it to go to cities as I am sure that ULEZ's are coming to all of us soon.

I can't remember the last time I drove into a city. The pickup is Euro 6B should the need ever arise. Thanks for the heads up though, I had no idea.
Newcastle is just commercials at the moment and all our vehicles are currently fine.

Intrigued as to what the Edinburgh one is being replaced with if he needs something bigger than a FF RR! Looks like there's a lot of choice out there Mark so given you've got the truck you can afford to be picky and buy on condition.

The Westminster is a Vogue with SE seats pretty much. So I always think that a Vogue SE is the sweet spot.

I've spoken with the garage that have the Vogue SE with the individual brown trim. It is still at the garage as the service picked up a part that needs replacing which is on back order.
It could be a week or it could be a month. I am first on the list for a call when they get it back - it is fully prepped other than the service.
I've told them I'm happy to pay a deposit when they get it back and if it is as described and has the full history as described then I will view, test drive, pay the balance and drive it home.
Should anything as nice appear more locally, then I'm obviously not going to pass that up. I'm not in a huge hurry.

Autobiography is the right choice and it looks really nice inside.

That would mean changing the bumpers too as it's part of the optional Exterior Design Kit. The wheels are Overfinch.

Hardly the end of the world and no doubt it will do the job and in some style. Nice.

I'm not a fan of that grille either but otherwise the car looks good. Easy to say I wouldn't have a black one but so many were made in that colour that it's difficult to avoid if you also have certain spec preferences and TBH the FFRR does rather suit black unlike the RR Sport which in black makes you look like a drug dealer. I'm sure you can live with the black paint job if it means the rest of the car is what you were after and getting an Autobiography spec is a bit of a bonus over the Vogues you were looking at earlier.

There is such a lot of rubbish about too. I phoned a dealer regarding a Silver 100k mile Vogue SE that looked very clean in the photos. No mention of history in the advert. Turns out only the first 50k has any evidence of service history and that was patchy. He wanted top money too.
There was an Overfinch Autobiography at Hull, but that really didn't float my boat at all.

They suffer from their popularity with people who can't afford to keep them properly maintained so you're right to go on condition and be picky. You might have rightly scoffed at the one with no service history after 50k being sold for top money but I bet they'll find some mug willing to pay it.

... Autobiography spec with lower milage which has to be a good thing. ... The wheels has a few bits of kerb rash and there is a couple of small scuffs on the bumper corners, but nothing I can't live with on a 12 year old car and nothing that can't easily be sorted fairly cheaply - the rest of the bodywork is pristine. It doesn't have a tow bar so I will have to sort that, but it hopefully means the transmission has had an easy life. Yes, I know I said I wouldn't get a black one, but it suits the colour and it is miles better than white and nearly all the ones on sale seem to be black. Nice. The full service history is a real plus. As said already, too many FFRR's fall into the hands of people who can't afford to run them properly. Personally I'd change the wheels. They're in danger of making you look like a drug dealer. Nice pair of standard Vogue SE rims required. The people who bought FFRR and can't afford to run them can, mysteriously, usually afford bigger wheels though - so you'll be killed in the rush to sell a pair of Overfinch wheels.

Yes, I blow got and cold on the wheels. A refurbishment back to silver would help a lot.

Silver would be better, but a set of genuine 20” wheels with Pirelli All Season tyres would be perfect and I bet it would ride and drive a lot better too.

These wheels (style 18 20” in shadow chrome) would make a really positive difference to the looks and driving experience.

Nice - I like the grille but not keen on the wheels . I’d look for a set of these en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Range_Rover_(L322) with some decent All season tyres My BIL had an L322 3.6 Vogue last year , until it was nicked off his drive and found burnt out a few days later . He’s back to a 2.7 Sport now . I much prefer the L322

You’ve probably found it already, but this forum is really useful for L322 owners and has a load of stuff in the wiki. From price lists and brochures, to the most important thing….the workshop manual and a list of solutions to common problems. www.fullfatrr.com/wiki/Main_Page

Very nice Mark, The interior needs the 2-tone otherwise it'd be very dark so good choice. The wheels I think are ok they just look really under-tyred.Put a set of nobblys on there and it would balance the car out much better.

If I go to 285/45 R22 at an eyewatering £300 per corner for the new BFG Trail Terrain (All Terrain Lite), it matches what this guy has done to his L332. He can't be all bad as he also has a Cummins Defender.

Bigger tyres would help but I really can't get on with the 2 bling grilles. Perhaps if the lower one was black it'd be easier.
