What fabulous TV GOT was last night. Trouble is I should do as you Mark and save it all up as the weeks wait in-between episodes is too much.

Never seen a minute of any of these mega series. Not that Breaking Bad or GoT or House or CSI. I lie: I have seen CSI in France as my mum loves it (can't be watching a show a septuagenarian likes!). The only thing I tried was that biker gang thing but it got so unnecessarily violent I stopped.
Vintage TV far better.

I loved Sons of Anarchy! Yes, it was violent, but it was almost justified and I didn't think it was gratuitous.
Justified was a nice slow burning thing to watch.
I'm currently watching Bosch season 3.

I'm with BB, only I've never seen any of Sons of Anarchy either. Nor Orange is the new Black which is, apparently, very good too. The only one I've seen any of is Outlander, and that only because Herself insisted I should watch now it's on terrestrial TV. CSI is the exception, but not sure I class that in the same league as the others; if only because it started out on 'proper' telly and stayed there! If I could see it, I quite fancied watching Bosch; only problem is the TV version looks absolutely nothing like what I have in my head from the books! |

Take the free one month trial of amazon Prime, binge watch all three seasons and then cancel it? Don't watch SoA before, though, or all you'll be able to think about is Titus Welliver's excruciatingly bad Irish accent!

Bosch is very good , other than a slightly wooden texture to some of the acting, but it has improved with every season. One of the few things that make Amazon Prime worth having, along with Vikings.

The reasoning behind limiting editing and deleting to 5 minutes is in the feedback topic, but basically, someone had a paddy and tried to delete all his posts before deleting himself. Anyway, back to music, a friend shared this the other day. The Boss, is, well, a Boss - he took requests at a gig! |

Ghost in the shell...brilliant way to spend 90minutes..looking at scarlett johanssen in skin tight catsuit.
Film wasn't too bad either for that sort of thing .

Is anyone planning to see The dark tower? Idris Elba is lead asw Roland and he is never less than good imho. From the Stephen King book series. There is also a TV series planned which I will not be seeing for a few years so I hope someone can feed an opinion on when it appears. I have the seven books and will one day read the last but, not just yet.

Fake Sugar by Beth Ditto, great album. Also keep hearing a tune called Nobody Cares by Superorganism. Very catchy and some great noises in it.

I watched 'The Circle' at the weekend.
It's clearly based on Google and Facebook and I suppose gives a warning about being too online.
Quite a good film and mildly depressing.

Young couple holidaying in Iceland (the country, not the shop) when something - not explained at all - happens and they are the only 2 people left.
No dead bodies, etc. It could've been ok but there's too much time spent on feelings and their relationship, we ended up fast forwarding at least half the film and the ending is crap.
Avoid!
