I've been watching Black Spot on Netflix.
Christ that's a dangerous place - it must be the French equivalent of Midsummer!

A little bit of wee just came out after watching the Top Gun 2 trailer. Its going to be great. No doubt Tom will be trying not to laugh all the way through like a modern day Kelly's Heroes. It'll be a must see, although I think that it will be a superb parody if itself while at the same time being itself.

It might have to be done just for giggles and kicks.

Just finished Gotham. I really enjoyed it. Some of the characters were superb.
Starting Hanna. I enjoyed the film version.

The Boys on Amazon is quite enjoyable. Very NSFW (not suitable for wives if they don’t like the c word and lots is other R rated stuff). Keith Urban’s cockney accent is super dodgy though.

Just watched the Great Hack on Netflix. Interesting doc about the Cambridge Analytica scandal. I couldn't help feeling CA were only thrown under the bus once those employing their services got found out.
I'd like to have seen Facebook get some more scrutiny, too, but maybe that's a different story. Zuckerberg came across as a lying slimeball. Which he probably is.

Currently watching the Umbrella Academy on Netflix before my sub downgrades to mere HD. Seems pretty good so far. The Boys on Amazon is up next.

I watched the first episode and a bit of the second but didn't really get it. Maybe I'll try again. I'm keeping the full package as we use more than two devices

Yes if I'm away with work and the wife is watching the main telly and my eldest is watching Netflix on her laptop. Also their price went up at the same time my mobile contract went down by £2 with my new phone so I'm evens.

We went to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. As a piece of film-art it is beautifully done and there are some very clever bits. But it all was a bit "is that it?" at the end. It reminded me of Lost in Translation, where you wait the whole film for it to speed up the pace, but it never does.

The Matrix came out 20 years ago. Still a great film and one I can always watch again. Not so much the sequels.....
According to the press there is to be a 4th film in the series with Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss again. So it will have to be set before they both die in the third film. Unless there is another whole level of mind games to go on after the end of the third film - did they really die or was it all another layer of the matrix?

You'll be attracted by the legs, but you'll stay for the voice. Pure honey for the ears (and eyes).
I've listened to some of her other stuff and it's no-where near as good though. She's a one-hit wonder for me (musically...).

Currently watching The Capture on BBC/iPlayer. Not really sure if I think it's any good because it has an interesting premise but there are some glaring factual errors in the story which I find are grating.

More than two at the same time? I've started on the Boys on Amazon Prime. Really good so far. Violent and loads of swearing! I've got the last episode to watch tonight. I've been really impressed with it so far. Karl Urban's Cockney accent is brilliant; the way it swerves between Eastenders, to Kiwi, via California in a single sentence is tremendous.

We watched Snatch recently and were similarly impressed by Brad Pitt's verbal gymnastics while attempting a southern Irish accent.

It's a great accent, innit! I am still wondering how they've not been sued by DC or Marvel yet. Homelander is exactly the same as Superman bar the hair colour and superiority complex.
