Fine for me as well, the first 10sec of each track anyway.

It was pretty good ,I do love that ford GT, our roads are too narrow for it is the only negative thing I can say about it.

Unless a Chiron owner has also bought the Nardo test facility I don't think they'll have much to worry about. If someone can tell me where you can do 260 odd MPH for a mile without some arse sat in the fast lane doing 70 let alone 35 miles I'm all ears. I'd be surprised if Bugatti don't hold owner's days at VW's Esse Lessien track.

The only issue I have with Spotify is it randomly stopping and going offline, despite there either being a 4G or router connection.
Whilst I'm here, Mastodon's new album Emperor Of Sand is fucking magnificent.

The 4WD buggy segment at Hammertown was superb, that course was genuinely frightening and I think the fear on Harris' face was real. He did very well to finish 4th. The only slight negative was the reappearance of Eddie Jordan hamming it up (badly). I'm surprised how good this series has been, for an old format it does feel much fresher. Hats off to the BBC - I didn't think they could pull it off but they have. Agreed. I saw the Monday rerun last night. That Hammertown racing was genuinely mind boggling. Full marks to Chris Harris and Sabine for giving it their all - rather then battling at the back for last and next to last and playing for laughs.. Harris coming 4th was quite an achievement.

We've just started watching series one of The Last Kingdom on DVD. It's good. Clearly the budget was limited for series 1 - every time there is a battle scene between the Saxons and the Danes, there are about 20 people on each side.

I'm currently attempting to watch series 2, but haven't managed to finish episode 1 without nodding off half way through it (three attempts so far). I might just give up on it and regard it as a one season thing!

Top Gear last night was excellent, probably the best of the series so far. Loved the Ford GT, genuinely drop dead gorgeous styling, and the suspension drop as it went into track mode just appealed to the kid in me so much. Same. Watched it last night and loved it. The balance of the presenting team is spot on and they are growing into their relationships too. Was pondering if MLB as the front man might also help them sell it internationally too. What's the best is the loss of the OTT stupid adventures like the caravan trips, the trip to Russia was fine in that respect as mainly car based, not Clarkson setting fire to a tent. Feeling good for Harris too, he's spent a decade on and off trying to get his presenting off the ground and it's finally paid off. The 4th place proves he can drive too. I like the use of Sabine as well, she's not a presenter but she's a knowledgeable and likeable driver and the way she's used in the new series works much better. As a balance, I've still got 4 episodes of Grand Tour still to watch and I can't muster any enthusiasm for them. As someone, somewhere said (here?) we're the winners as now we've got 2 Top Gears' not just one. Hope the viewing figures are matching the reviews they're getting now.

Have to agree with all the positive comments...I haven't been put off by one bit of the revamped TG. MlB and Chris Harris gel well together and MlB proves he's a dab hand behind the wheel. If it wasn't for the slightly too long 'celeb' chats, the one with Tamsin Grieg was far too long then it would get 10 out of 10 from me.
Doesn't the Ford GT look absolutely epic too. First car in a long time (Porsche 911 GT3 RS aside) that I've wanted a 1/18 scale model of.

The final round of the Masters last night was brilliant. After 74 attempts Sergio won his first Major on what would have been Seve Ballesteros' 60th birthday. His head to head with Justin Rose was 5 hours of compelling TV that wasn't decided until the first play off hole.

Great TV as the masters usually is. Seems everyone was routing for Sergio but thought he'd blown it early doors.

Been to see it twice at Sleddale Hall, which is the setting for Crow Crag in the film. Having a few ales is, of course, essential. Couldn't do it this year as we're on hols, but will definitely do it again.
(Almost) all the swearing - ignore the tedious gimp doing the 15-second intro...

TG was fantastic, and just proves that the format wasn't tired rather the previous presenters weren't good enough - crikey, even Eddie Jordan couldn't bring it down. Le Blanc is excellent as the front man, the rest of the team are spot-on and they get the balance of stupidity, proper presentation, genuine intrigue and useful information spot-on - even finding the Ford GT of no interest didn't put me off! Utterly brilliant and the TG production team should be very impressed with themselves Which bits are "must sees" from the current TG series? I've missed it all, having watched very little telly this year bar the 6 Nations, but I did see the end of the "ski run in a 4WD supercar" bit and Harris in the Chiron, and both were good... The Rio Ferdinand thing was very touching, and it's great to see mental illness get such big billing from such a revered figure, but I have heard people say he had over 20 documented affairs while his wife was still around, which for me somewhat takes away from his "when you get married and have kids all you want to do is provide for them" line of argument....

Nope. Watched the first series and missed the second. One and two are on Netflix and they recently promised three, but it never materialised. I was hoping to do a catch up session, as Mrs P has watched all of them.

Are we not all on 'line of duty ' Great entertainment Oh yes, we're loving this series. I've not seem any previous series so I have those to go back to when this one is finished. Season 3 of Better Call Saul has just started on Netflix. I didn't think they could do anything as good as Breaking Bad but going back and doing the prequel has been genius. I love Bill Odenkirk

Amazing Hotels on BBC1.... wonder in Ben can tell us if tourism in Singapore really has stepped up a notch following completion of the Marina Bay Sands?
Where do all these tourists come from? What do they do and how long is a typical stay in Singapore?
The guy who did the hotel in the Ecuadorian cloud forest really has some sense of vision rarely seen elsewhere.....

Amazing Hotels on BBC1.... wonder in Ben can tell us if tourism in Singapore really has stepped up a notch following completion of the Marina Bay Sands? Where do all these tourists come from? What do they do and how long is a typical stay in Singapore? Quite so. I think the F1 race in particular has brought in a huge wave of tourism, not just for the event, but also in helping promote Singapore as a hip and trendy place to party and indulge. The opening of Marina Bay Sands and the Resorts World in Sentosa has brought in lots of world class attractions like restaurants and fun stuff (the Universal Studios theme park for one) to attract these folks to stay and play. I'm guessing a lot of these tourists are from the usual places (Europe and America), but as well there are masses of visitors from fast developing economies like China and India as well. I figure a good number of these are also transiting tourists, in town for a few days before continuing on their journeys towards the rest of Asia (wherever that might be). Also we seem to be getting more and more events (like the recent Coldplay concert, and some high profile football matches) which brings in a fair number of people from around the region all on their own.
