Just what sort of muppet thinks that is a good look? I know taste is personal and subjective, but the more I see of cars on Autotrader, I am of the opinion that all people speccing a new car should have to go through some sort of "taste police department" to vet their order. And I include demonstrators in that as some of those are shocking too.  |

Would you actually buy that car though with that interior? I don't mind any of the elements individually (ok I don't like the aluminium dash but that is changeable) but the combined ensemble doesn't work - the red seatbelts just clash horribly with the seats.
Pricing's punchy too.

Pricing's punchy too. Its mostly the seatbelts which are actually an easy fix and probably something the dealer has already factored into their profit margin to change them out. The dash I could live with and I could probably live with the red dials if the price was right. Admittedly the price isn't cheap and therefore i wouldn't poke up with the compromise but I do stand by that its good to see something a little different even though its not one for me. |

I thought the Macan GTS came with red seat belts as standard so maybe he just forgot to get them changed to the optional black!

Not as standard, only with the GTS pack, which you couldn't combine with that colour leather. It won't come as a surprise to learn that I think it's absolutely awful, even replacing the seatbelts / dials / aluminium trim wouldn't be enough. Brown steering wheel....too much light coloured door trim.... |

That's pretty awful and for some reason the upholstery makes me think of 1970s sofas.
Mind you I saw somebody wearing flares the other day so perhaps the first owner was more 'on trend' than we are.

My personal favouite is to have coloured leather (seats and inner door cards) but everything else, including the headlining, in black. Some manufacturers allow that. But others, while leaving or allowing you to have the upper dash and steering wheel black , insist on changing the lower dash to match the seats, which does not look as good. Which leaves black on black as the only option. And then there's this GTS that goes full on the other extreme. If he'd just left it at the seats he's be OK. |

Now, the E Type is a great car but it has one serious foible that prevents it from being a proper looker:
The track is too narrow. The wheels are too far inboard which make it look like it's on tiptoes. This has always bothered me.
