How did you stumble across those monstrosities?!

I was looking for some, er, inspiration on Autotrader so I just opened the 'Make' option and scrolled down the list. Since all my colleagues appear to be on holiday now and things are quiet I decided now was the time to click on all the ones where I'm not sure what they produce - such as Beauford which has 1 car listed - and the makes that only have a few entries. No in-depth work was carried out to bring you these hideous creations..........

I saw one in the US a few of years ago, it's not that clear from the pics but it's got a panoramic roof for the rear passengers. Its an upmarket 370Z.....

I saw one in the Caribbean. Thought I’d been smoking something exotic.

The Nissan Murano was always a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But not the convertible....

I only found out the convertible existed when I saw the ad.
They're an odd looking thing but I was looking at cheap 4x4s and thought that a normal one might make a good buy - put some decent knobbly tyres on it and it should be fine in the snow. They must be fairly unstressed with that 3.5 litre lump?

That's pricey when you can get a 100k miles one for around £5k. I don't see either as being any less risky than the other there.
Nice to see one that isn't black or silver though.

What is this doing in the 'not wanted' thread! Pricey, but lovely.

What is this doing in the 'not wanted' thread! Pricey, but lovely. I'd have to put it in not wanted solely on the awful colour that somebody selected for the dashboard. It's a horrible color period. But what a colour clash with the tan seats to cap it off.

Looks like Plod spec with that povvo interior, but obviously isn't due to the low mileage and one owner for 20 years. What the hell are those wheels all about?

I think this era of prestige motor generally came without dead cow on the seats. Plod would've had a keep fit gearbox back then as well.

My boss bought himself a 2 year old 525iSE saloon in 1994 - to celebrate getting his licence back after a drink driving ban (his 2nd) - and it had cloth seats too.

I think it was the 5 series like Martin's estate (F10?) that came standard with leather across the board. I remember going on a German exchange as a kid and being driven back from Stuttgart in one of those at 200kph +. That was velour trimmed.

That's right, leather was an option (which I added) on the E60 5 series.

Burn him!!! I think you're right though. Of course, Martin will be able to follow that up by telling you that they were actually an option on the 5 series as well and he'll give you the product code too

I doubt it on a 1995 E34. The E38 7 was already out by then, and those flat-face alloys were I think only fitted to the earlier V12 E32s.
I'd wager it was on steelies originally and someone got those fitted as a cheap second-hand set of alloys.

It is www.seymourpope.com/used-vehicle-details/BMW-7-Series-U227/Which I always thought odd that the top spec model got those hideous alloys and the 735i got a nice cross spoke design. Its like they're eco specials which is a little lost on a 5.0 V12
