I assume they were going more for a sober, upmarket limo look, and leaving the sporty look to those youngsters with their V8s.

Indeed, those items surely devalue the vehicle.

What happens in a persons life to end up thinking that was a good idea?

I see the Scots have moved away from heroin and onto LSD now.

What happens in a persons life to end up thinking that was a good idea? Do you not think as we exit lockdown there are going to be huge numbers of these creations feeding out onto the road. People have been stuck at home, nothing to do but drink and order parts off eBay. It happens a lot with Land Rover owners apparently.

It was going to be a surprise! Classy! Although I think the windows need to be blacked out for the full effect.

Classy! Although I think the windows need to be blacked out for the full effect. My rear windows are now so black it has been mistaken for a panel van.

That top one is both particularly horrid and yet dangerous - it could give Kahn (or Land Rover SVO) some nasty ideas.
The bottom one - if he's just left it at the quad tips and the rear spoiler he might have got away with it....

I'm hoping that with the yellow one, the panels have been taped on temporarily to hide bodywork damage. I'm struggling to identify the "base" car, is it a Laguna?

It's a Laguna II, my first instinct was right (for a change)

It's a Laguna II, my first instinct was right (for a change) Couldn't have specified the specific model but I'd have said Laguna at least. Tails lights and wheels were the clues for me.

I was convinced it was a Lamborghini - as I’m sure the owner intended me to think.

Eugh. And isn't nigh on £58k for a 5 year old RS6 also rather taking the piss? Yes I'm sure that special interior cost thousands, but I don't think it adds anything to the value. It may even reduce it....

I don't mind that and if it was 10K cheaper it wouldn't put me off.

Brown dash top and steering wheel indicate that the original specifier was clearly unable to distinguish between "nice" and "overkill". That is a lot of money: the Gorilla was 5 years old when I bought it and from a similar base price point to an RS6, accounting for the RS6's 5-years newer-ness, inflation, mileage etc. I never paid anywhere near that!
