To be fair, viewed by milk bottle glasses and with a bit too much Tennants extra in the kidneys, that probably did look all right for a second or two. Other than that the beholder would need to be a cracker short etc.

Why? Just why? Not only does it look awful, it looks like a death trap and the interior is just, well, words fail me.

^ Apart from the steering wheel, it's not bad at all...... but not with a blue exterior !

I found it at RS246.com, where the wheel was described as looking like it was made from the stuff that they used to make artificial limbs from...

That's not a pleasant tan colour at all - more a "pale shit" colour. And they seem to like paedo grey as well...
Mrs PG's first black Audi A3 had dark yellow seats (with a black wheel of course) and that sort of worked. This just looks naff. The steering wheel is beyond naff -it is nasty.

I also fail to understand pairing such a codgerly colour with carbon fibre trim.

M3's and M4's have plummeted in value recently. It wouldn't surprise me if BB likes that colour but let's just say it's an acquired taste and on my side of the city that colour might not be so warmly welcomed.

Same reason my brother-in-law's Glasgow sourced Alfa GT Cloverleaf had its cloverleaf badges removed!
I saw a 2018 reg M4 - not a Competition - for under £40k on my search. It had under 10k miles. Eastern have a huge amount of low mileage 2018 M3 & 4s for sale.

Apart from the body colour, shame it's so loud, it's not bad at all. Decent wheels and interior although it needs Piers to vacuum some nice stripes into the carpets

There’s one exactly like that living around the corner from me, biggest difference is that it has a sunroof.

Non Competition pack M3/M4's are nearly unsaleable, that's why the prices of those have fallen even further. The falling prices are a sign that the current M3/M4 have not been the best loved. I remember the E46 M3 holding it's value very well even after the new V8 E92 version came out. And it will probably be nearly a year before we can buy the new M3 and upwards of 2 years before the new M4.

Yep. The current M3 / M4 is cheaper than a comp spec LCI E92 M3

I've been looking at Guilia QF's for a long time expecting the values to come down but they've held pretty firm starting at around 45k. The M3 Comp and C63 on the other hand look much better value being a good grand plus cheaper.

Recently saw a 68-plate M4 manual at under 44K, delivery miles. I too can't help thinking that its predecessors wouldn't have fallen quite so fast. An M2 Comp manual would command a higher price, its more limited supply, but still.
The M4 just sounds awful in every way, I couldn't live with it.

The M4 just sounds awful in every way, I couldn't live with it. They sound pretty good from the inside though. It's the lack of traction and the sudden tail out moments I couldn't live with in a car I use every day in all weathers on public roads. EDIT: and the suspension is too hard for a daily driver on UK roads

A neighbour has a mate/relative with one that is stupidly loud. He obviously didn't like how it sounded and bought some aftermarket tubing.

I love it. Some many cars are a boring colour, it brings some life to the world (I feel the same about orange cars).
