That's an awful colour combination and pretty awful individually as well.

That's an awful colour combination and pretty awful individually as well. The seats will be lot more brown in reality, but I agree, they're both awful.

It looks a lot like the material used to cover swimming pools.

Without that bright blue crocodile tat it would look alright under the bright sun of the South of France. It's a no from me, however.

It is a shame that so many Phantoms are specified in such bad taste since they are such astonishingly good cars to drive.

The acquisition of wealth doesn't run parallel with the acquisition of taste, sadly.

I seem to vaguely recall that when the Phantom first came out, we all had great fun competing to see who could spec the vilest combination.

Still not a patch on its predecessor from a visual perspective.

Current shape 3 series in grey with black grille. It's a dog's breakfast. Front on, it looks like it is wearing sunglasses safe albums

I don't normally like chrome on a car but in this case it would be the preferred option.
You could get away with the black on a black car but I think on anything lighter it doesn't work and on white, well, just plain nasty.

The second one with the extra smiley face isn’t chrome, as it’s an M340i with the bronze ish trim (cerium grey iirc) Agree that chrome is better, or to be more accurate....not as bad.

It is difficult to like any G20, inside out. At a push, a regular M Sport on 19’s looks reasonable. A more traditional grille, round exhaust tips, and no M Performance tat. The thing I liked about the 340i/440i is that they just looked like their lesser counterparts, apart from the split tail pipes, which was hardly obvious. Even the M140i as an M Performance model wasn’t that shouty.
The interior also doesn’t really feel better than the F30, it looks shinier, but I suppose they had to come up with something new to sell. The F30 just looks better inside out. Certain 3’s don’t work for me, E90 and G20 included.
The Cerium Grey bits look tacky to me. It might be an improvement to some, not to me!
Just trying to picture a new M440i with a Cerium Grey grille, I'll get the sick bucket....

Is it? Is it really? The new ones look nice from the back and I like the sound of an M340 model, but OMG that grille...

We have someone close to us who has an orangey metallic 340i and from the rear quarter with smoked rear lenses I think it looks pretty good but the front is a mess.

Totally insane. Even with a Euromillions win in the bank I could never be persuaded to pay £580,000 for a GTR in drag!
