It was ok. Pretty much standard TG (bit too scripted, too much celebrity chat) My 3 1/2 year old now likes Lamborghini’s and is talking mostly about horse power, which has to be better than Paw Patrol or PJ Masks.

It's about cars so I will get around to watching it at some point when I can remove the remote control from the females in the house.

Watched and enjoyed. Good that the American has been binned off.

Agree with cbeaks, it was ok. Scenery was stunning as expected but the banter was a bit forced at times.

I thought it was alright, although the inclusion of Hammond's crash meant that you could pretty much predict the whole show right from the start.
The Celebrity Face Off surely cuts a bit close to SIARPC?

I still haven’t seen any of the first series so unlikely I’ll see any of this.

Was ok,some funny bits .
Was it me ,but showing them egging on Hammond to drive faster prior to the crash was a bit weird?

Watched it on Friday. My first thoughts were; "Jesus, how old do the three of them look now??" 4K does them no favours at all. The teaser for what is coming up this series looked great and I had high hopes, the road tour to Switzerland started well to. Then the Conversation Street segment came on - boring, and too long - needs some serious editing, and then "Two Stars in a Unreasonably Priced Car" came on - shit track that looks like they've got a guy with a digger to extend a gokart track with a bit of gravel. Bad as the American segment was last season at least they had a half decent track. The format looks a bit tired - they look a bit tired - as if they're just going though the motions for the fat paycheque from Amazon. There was enough hinted at in the trailer for me to watch this season but for my money Top Gear is now the superior programme.

It was enjoyable enough. S*IAU**PC was rubbish.
*Plural. **Unreasonably.
We're not streaming in 4k yet, and given Virgin's massive variability in speed I may need to look elsewhere, but as Bob says, they're looking old...

I think it is noticeable how much of an effect their respective illnesses have had - they looked relatively younger in the Switzerland film but much older in the live slots post illness

I thought it was enjoyable but skipped the star bit
Rimac was insanely quick but how good does that Italian v12 sound still . What a noise

I thought it was ok. The trio are funniest when they act like juvenile monkeys to each other (like Jezza calling May 'Vagina').
But other than that, meh.

They have probably peaked already, entertainment wise movement can be sluggish but when the movement comes it is pretty definite. I doubt there will be a series 3 myself.

Enjoyed it, bar the celebrity twaddle.

I skipped through the celebrities as I had no interest in what either of them had to say. The ‘race’ was ok but nothing original and not a lot went ‘wrong’ or at least not in any sort of amusing manner - is roadworks and a bus having to stop for passengers really all they could come up with?

It was OK last night, I got the sense that they are just going through the motions. The GT40 was immense but the race was very predictable and I was nodding off a bit. The introduction of relative unknown Abbie Eaton as the new 'Stig' smacked of political correctness to address the accusation that the programme is too "laddish", and it looks like they have stopped moving the tent round the world - although that might change for future episodes. It did seem like a pointless waste of time and logistics. I don't know what peoples' feelings are about the Stars in an Unreasonably Priced Car but running a Jag round that little bit of track they've knocked out just lacks any drama. When you had the Suzuki or the Lacetti there was always a chance you'd get a wheel falling off, cornering on two wheels, or just going straight on at a corner. There's none of that now.

I might get round to it at some time - but I gave series 1 a go and got bored half way through the first episode - it was just like watching a grander production of Top Gear - OK if you like Top Gear, but if like me, you found the last 4 or 5 series boring, then it was just a more lavish way of getting bored.

I think it speaks a lot that while TG had many memorable episodes and moments, I can't for the life of me remember anything from Season 1 of TGT despite watching much of it.
Like Bob said, they're just going through the motions, and nothing really stands out.
