As mentioned, we had flurries in the City although they didn't settle, and my mother said they had a dusting in Suffolk too.

We’ve failed a delivery into Grimsby today due to snow, but that’s because the driver ran out of hours due to delays.

Lincolnshire or Massachusetts ?
The latter is, IMHO, more interesting having been there in September.

As to the LR in the snow..... fantastic that you are enjoying it, Mark, and must make the purchase and all the effort of rebuilding it worthwhile.

Thanks Chris. I have bonded with this vehicle like none I have ever owned. It is seriously flawed, but immensely capable and looks so bloody cool.  I nearly cried the first time I drove down a scratchy lane, but at the end, I wanted to do it again. I no longer worry about dents or scratches. 

The only issue I have in the snow is that the snow piles up in the lip at the bottom of the screen and the wiper sweep diminishes gradually as this happens. It’s a Land Rover thing and totally acceptable to me, but hilarious at the same time. It’s still snowing hard here. 

Was that at home John, as we had nothing either here at home or in NE Glasgow. Wasn't even that cold today, for the short spells I was outside. 

It was. Just a light dusting of fluffy snow. We are at the bottom of a hill and it is always colder. I have a half mile drive to the main road by which time it is normally a degree or two warmer and a totally different look.

Got a call from a mate this afternoon. An elderly couple had gone off the road in the same location as this morning’s photos. A Ford Kuga was well beached in a deep snowdrift on the opposite side of the road. They said they had braked to avoid a car coming the other way, but as they had gone off the right hand side, I suspect they weren’t paying attention instead.

It took some digging, use of waffle boards and a double line pull from a 9500lb winch to get it out.  A thank you would have been appreciated. 😡. Beautiful evening though.
