On a trip to the south west yesterday I saw a convoy of about a dozen Mclarens.

A handful of Porsches yesterday, heading through and out of Blairgowrie, all the ones I saw being various iterations of 911 and all German registered.
Apparenlty some sort of Tour of Britain or Cannonball-esque run? They had large blue ovals with numbers on their doors - 346 to 349 were the ones I saw.

I was only thinking I hadn’t seen anything interesting in weeks and then today, a Ferrari California drove past, a new M4- it looks good in that dark green colour but I still don’t like the grille. Then I drove past a Chevrolet Desoto- a big old car from the 1950’s that looks like one of the cars in the old Milky Way ad. Also saw a Mercedes SL500, a 30 year old one that looked pretty good in postbox red.

Whilst in Germany on holiday last week, I saw in the twilight one of the "new" BMW 7-series. The bloated grille is outlined by lED lighting when the lights are on...... to some, it may look like a big fish with an illuminated mouth about to swallow something

That Lotus looks good
The Maserati does not - those wheels are awful

A Lexus IS300 Sport Cross passed me the other day - I thought it still looked pretty good, despite being 20 years old.

On the bus right now and there’s a bright orange Diablo alongside us, complete with GoPro on the roof and stickers on the side, possibly from the Cannonball run that was on here recently.
Sounds fantastic.

Saw a baby blue Lamborghini Aventador SV earlier near the top end of Hyde Park. Had Saudi plates on it which is typical of that part of London. Also went past the Aston showroom on Park Lane and saw a rather nice DB12. Quite modestly optioned with only 50k of extras specced according to the info sheet.

I saw 4 cement trucks in a convoy near my house earlier. It's not a good day to be pouring that I think!

Perfect location for it to use all that power and aero Yep, did make me chuckle, when I took the photo it was in the final stages of just being cleaned (hence the damp patch around it), 10 minutes, later I heard it and caught the rear disappearing down a side road, an ideal car for central London!

For some people cars are just a huge game of top trumps to show who has the most money. On the other hand, anyone who managed to get an allocation of a GT3RS is likely sitting on at least a £100K profit so maybe not that daft after all!

I like the gold bits more than perhaps I should. I thought exactly the same, but I think they do work better with the green. Even with the gold bits it’s still pretty subtle / under the radar for what it is.

From that angle it doesn't look too bad although it needs a good clean. I still don't understand why BMW abandoned the "angel eyes" DRLs which were distinctive and IMHO a piece of good design

Overtook a Peugeot 208 that had a badge on the back that looked like it said GTI. As I passed (dual carriage way exiting a roundabout) I realised it was a GTI. What a boring looking car! I didn’t even know they were a thing but it looked like a regular 208 to me. As a teenager, the 205 GTI in either guise was a fantastic car and one to look out for, but now, it’s become a white good.

Driving to work this morning, the vehicle, two ahead of me was indicating on bends- road turned right, right indicator came on. And so forth. The weird thing was that it was a white Mercedes Sprinter van.
I can only surmise that the driver was bored and decided to see what the indicator stalk does!

I had to go to the local garden centre at lunchtime and on the way there, heading the opposite direction, was a recovery truck with a dark blue Jag C-Type on the back.
No idea if it was an original or not and didn't get sight of a reg.

This was parked outside the hotel in the centre of Brussels earlier. They are possibly the same wheels as my "upgrade" Giulia ones... and (runs and hides) I was pondering, if I got a winter set, trying a subtle gold. If you're able, nick those wheels for me!!!

I have a neighbour who bought the new M4 as soon as it came out and replaced it with an M3 Touring as soon as they were released. Like most women, my wife hates the Touring and quite liked the M4 whereas I probably slightly prefer the Touring. However when either of them was parked with the nose facing the street there was no wow moment or deep seeded want. Both cars have been fitted with the carbon buckets which whilst comfortable to be in when driving are a complete pain in the neck if you are getting in and out regularly.
