It was weird how they just appeared suddenly...

Should we be divvying up the cost?

I'll start a topic elsewhere.

What's the problem with ads? If it keeps the cost down or those who go to the trouble of maintaining this site get a bit of a reward for their efforts, I'm happy enough for them to appear.

Should we be divvying up the cost? I think this is the best solution and I am happy to contribute to this.

I saw an early NSX (complete with git plate) at the local garden centre yesterday. Can't remember when I last saw one.
Sadly he was behind me when I left and then got held up at the junction so although he went the same way there was no way he was going to have a chance to overtake, assuming he wasn't dawdling.
I presume he was taking advantage of their 'free delivery on purchases over £100' policy.

A Ford Ka+. I wonder why someone there got the idea that what they needed was a car that went in between the Ka and the Fiesta?

A Ford Ka+. I wonder why someone there got the idea that what they needed was a car that went in between the Ka and the Fiesta? The actual KA is no more, the KA+ replaces it. I wonder who in Ford thought that the KA+, as it is, was a good idea, it's just so dull and meh, Ford have alienated first/younger buyers in one fell swoop; get them into the brand young and you've a fighting chance in keeping them.

Saturday and Sunday, I saw... I love this event for just how close you can get to cars like this. And even more very, very valuable and rare cars.

Ah, can't trump a Chiron, a Veyron and a Veyron SS, but on a recent drive up to North Wales I did spot on the A5 just outside Oswestry my first RR Dawn, roof down, being driven by a very smart suited older gentleman with a lady friend suitable attired herself. The car was a light beige which didn't do it any favours but it did look imperious. EDIT: it's not going to be called 'beige' in the RR colour pallet selection, wheat is still not poncy enough still
Other than that, a black Noble M400 on the M6 Toll Road this evening, a red C7 Corvette (they look immense IMHO) and what looked like a very well maintained white J-reg Ford Sierra 1.8 LX and I couldn't help remarking to Julie what a nice clean design that is to this day.
...and a VW Passat that was easily doing 110mph, if not more, on the M6 Toll Road this evening. I was doing a speed a bit north of 70 (very light traffic - come on, we all do) and it came past me at a speed like nothing has ever overtaken me before. It wasn't an unmarked cop car as it has kiddy paraphernalia pilled up on the back seat but fuck me this is the fastest I have ever seen anything on the road.

Followed a Citroen Traction Avant up the A19 the other day. I was uncertain about it from the back but it had a certain Citroeness to it which was confirmed when I passed it. It must have been a latter model as it had the extended boot, so probably 50s then. It was quite spritely and kept up with modern traffic well.

I saw one of those 'Bentley' 300C saloons yesterday. I'm sure it probably had a git-plate as well as being 'overbadged' The driver and his wife were as you'd expect - him with a thick neck and her a Pat Butcher lookalike.

A top of the range Disco 4 to which the owner had fitted steelies and mega off road tyres. It looked a bit like a beefy bloke attending a smart evening get together in a dinner suit and hiking boots (with crampons).

We took a different way home from the local town last night and I spotted a pre-facelift version of the Ford Granada hatchback. Looked like it was in regular use and I'd guess it was a fairly high spec model. I think it was on a D reg so about 1986.

Yesterday, before my mum managed to drive into my Fiesta, I filled it up with fuel alongside an 07 plate Marlin Roadster. Not sure I've ever seen one of those outside of shows. Then a Dolomite pulled up to refuel. A brief chat with the drivers established that there was no local show, just coincidence..... and the Dolomite was powered by a BMW 6-cylinder engine

A new Insignia (Grand Sport?). Didn't get chance for a proper look as it was travelling in the opposite direction, but it looked pretty good.

Saw a nice Golf GTi Clubsport last night. Even I managed to feel a bit of Golf envy. It wasn't the very rare Clubsport S, just the regular but still fairly rare Clubsport.

Today I saw an Audi A4 with these wheels: WT Actual F were they thinking about?

Where they the same colour as the car? I assume it's some pious model.

The car was black. These wheels are a €400 option

They just have to belong to some Eco electric drive "thing". I don't have enough interest in Audi A4's to know if they do such a thing but there is no other excuse for such a design.

Not an option on U.K. A4s as far as I know.

A Peugeot 205 GTi - not a highly pampered classic, but just one that seemed to be wearing well in daily use - a K plate metallic blue 1.6
