Yep North Street Chris.
According to some guy on Pistonheads who seems to know what he is talking about, that Alpina is 1 of only 2 RHD LWB versions ever produced.

Saw my first Fiat/Abarth Spider thingy the other day in white with the black bonnet/boot. Looked really good to be honest.

On the Fosse Way today, in a swirly green disguise, a Jaguar XE estate.

Last Friday I saw two Noble M12 GTOs being driven in convoy, and last Sunday morning I saw about a dozen late 80s/early 90s Mini Coopers being driven in convoy in some sort of rally.

On the Fosse Way today, in a swirly green disguise, a Jaguar XE estate. Was it an XE? According to the Jag dealer yesterday there won't be an XE estate as the XF estate was and is far more popular. Jag launched the new XF estate with teaser vids today.

I've seen a couple of new Vauxhall Vivas. When did they get released, I don't remember hearing about their existence?

Today I heard a hard accelerating car and immediately thought it sounded like another S3. However as it passed the window I was really surprised to see that it was a Porsche Macan. Do they put the 4 cylinder engine in the Macan or is that what the 6 cylinder petrol sounds like? Not impressed.

The base Macan has the VAG 2.0T 4 pot, seeing quite a few around now, it wasn't available from launch.
I'm not sure what the appeal is for anyone. It's only just over £2k cheaper than the S, which has a higher level of std equipment and another 90hp. Or if running costs are all you're concerned about, get the Diesel S, which is the same price as the petrol.

Thanks Martin. I doubt a 2 ltr petrol is going to be much more economical than the 3 litre in an SUV in any case but the sound really didn't do it for me.

An old pop up light Acura/Honda NSX today and the same white corvette twice this afternoon in different places which had the licence plate Z06 LT4. Saw an older stingray vette for sale this afternoon, which looked good from the road, not sure of the price or the condition up close though.

An Alfa 156 with Israeli flags on each door. Not stickers, but those ones on sticks you see when there is a World Cup on. WTF!

I love Italy. I have seen a 124 Sport Spider driven by an impossibly perfect Italian gentleman. Today I saw a Fiat 1500 Spider special and there are the many 500 spots. Can't upload due to crappy connection.
Hire car lottery produced a 208. Gutted.

Just been out for a nice walk to get my lunch and spotted a bright yellow VX220, an immaculate MGB GT V8 and what looked like a Grinnall Scorpion (like a KTM X-Bow but with 1 wheel at the back) but wasn't.

Scimitar SS1 on my way home tonight. Not sure of the body material, but it was utterly unblemished on the bits I could see!
Beats the Maloo Ute I keep seeing and was next to at the lights last night. That might be coloured by his genteel take off from the lights . . . . the git!
