I saw a Lamborghini Miura this morning, coming up West Hill as I was going down the hill. They're very low.

I saw a 17 plate Tipo hatchback this morning, first one I've ever seen, looked pretty dull to me. Also saw an 17 plate A45 with the silly spoiler pack on the way home yesterday, thankfully it's an option, as is the bright green paint. The Tipo IS dull, you could put a KIA badge on and people wouldn't question it.
The A Class I saw with the spoilers wasn't an A45 and was driven by a gent who appeared to be in his 60s. I'm sure the A45 that did have the spoilers had them painted in a contrasting colour, i.e. it was black, they were red or something like that.
Sounds horrendous!

It was so horrendous that I blanked it out until now - I saw the A45 several months ago!

After googling up through the numbers I can now confirm I saw an immaculate Renault 16 earlier.

Forgot my spot of a rather nice M140i last night - first I've seen to my knowledge.
Sadly, the yummy-mummy (not!) driving it was doing so very sedately . . . booo!

A Z8 on the way home, roof down, being driven by a very mature lady

That's reminded me that I saw a Griffith at my local Tesco last weekend. It had gone when I reappeared, sadly.

I just nipped out for a roll and spotted a Xedos 9 parked across the road.

It's their demo model and he isn't holding his breathe that anyone will be buying it! They've registered two, the second a hatch which is also a demo and that's it. Given that Fiat UK don't appear to have invested any of their budget in letting the buying public know if its existence it's not surprising. I think even Renault UK have put more effort into advertising the new Megane!

In Portugal last week and it looked like the 2 most popular hire cars were Tipos and Megane wagons. I think the Megane is a pretty good looking car, and the Fiat nice but dull.
I was given a mark 7 Golf Estate. It was white goods, and in left hand drive has an odd driving position ( the clutch pedal lines up with the centre of the steering wheel). The VW plastics quality thing is massive bollocks too. Anything low down was the same 'scratchy' plastic as any other car.

Out on a bicycle ride this afternoon and saw my first facelifted quad-headlights Skoda Octavia.
It was in black and do you know what, it looked really rather good. Better in the metal than in photos

Saw this spectacle earlier. A thousand points to anyone who can identify the car appearing from behind the bloke - the front bumper just visible at the left of his hip. web img

I think even Renault UK have put more effort into advertising the new Megane! Lol, we've got a fair few Meganes; pre reg and demos, rammed up our arses that we can't shift for love nor money and there is talk of Renault doing what they call a "pack deal" on stock Meganes (of which there are alot); essentially heavy discounting to get them shifted, if this happens it'll be even harder to shift our current pre reg and demo cars. Currently they are all up for over a grand less then they owe us. When Kadjar was launched, RUK put in milions into the advertising for it, they hit the ground running with agressive advertising, when Megane was launched, there was no advertising and no point of sale for a good few months after it appeared, I think that speaks volumes for what they thought about Megane and where it was heading. The Megane is actually a good car.

I've seen a lot of TV ads for the new Megane, and quite a few for the new Tipo. Maybe it's the TV channels I watch?

No, it was Ferrari F12 but it seemed far less noteworthy than the monstrosity in the picture.

Saw a new Volvo S90 this morning, it's kind of an odd looking car, I like that it is different, however I don't think that it is a particularly attractive car, odd rear lights too.

Forgot to say that last week I saw a Pagani Huayra, it was fleeting as it was on the A3 on the opposite carriageway.

I'm seeing Land Rover Discoverys in increasing numbers, they seem to be highly successful around here. I don't mind the looks, it's not as good a design of the Disco3/5 but its not as offensive as some make out. I followed one yesterday that must have been all of a few weeks old and appeared to have been hit by a turning truck such was the damage to its near side.

I've only seen one white one. Not the best colour for many things, though.

That looks really good. I wondered where the parking bays were, so long that a 7-series fits inside comfortably.... then I thought I recognised North Street in Guildford ?
