A pair of Volvo 740's today - separately, not together! First was badged as an S40, on my way dwon the A9. Second one was a 740GLE in our local Tesco car park.
What kind of took me by surprise a bit was just how small they are in comparision to modern machinery. By dad had two 740's, and a 940 after them, and they all seemed huge at the time!

Yesterday on my travels I saw two current-shape XJ6's, not seen one for many weeks before this. One was badged with what looked like "XJ50" on the boot lid (I followed it for a mile or so), the other was going in the opposite direction and had a skinny space-saver spare on the rear offside wheel

The XJ50 was a limited edition from 2018 to celebrate 50 years of the XJ model.

A DB6 - Bronze - J reg so must have been one of the last - as far as I can recall, first time in my 60 years on this planet that I've seen one on the road.

What looked like a 1919 Daimler Light 30. Also a couple of 1960s Lotus Elans and a Silver Shadow.

Saw the new M4 on the road yesterday, didn’t see it from the front. Also saw an Aston Martin convertible but didn’t get the model as it was through a gap in the traffic and the driver had the top down and was cruising in the Fastrak (toll) lane. Was behind a new C8 Corvette too. Considering how many Corvettes are on the roads here, the C8 is a rare sight as they don’t have the parts to build them.

Don't know if this is Automotive Villainy but on the way home last night the traffic was going a bit slow through a 30mph limit with lots of stops and starts. Eventually the reason became clear - there was an old woman on a mobility scooter, driving down the road. When I got home I told my wife and daughter and my daughter said she had seen her riding down the middle of the road the day before. The worrying part is that my daughter saw her about 2 miles from where I saw her. She looked really old (late 80's at least) and I fear she has no idea she is not allowed to go on the road. If I see her again I am going to have to report it.

Safer for everyone. There used to be a twat on a tricycle down the A38, how he survived at all is still surprising me. He had to be seen in the act tho'.

With decent weather finally arriving, its been great to seeing cars like the Boxster 986, 323i E36 Cabrio and Z4 23i (a time when even the basic Z4 had a six) - all with modified exhaust systems. None of them go from 0-60mph in two seconds, but one could sense the enjoyment the owners were having. Relatively cheap thrills. May as well enjoy an open-top NA car whilst one can.

Fairly sure an original ac cobra going past my house ,hard to tell with these but the Reg number was old enough ,and an aston v8 vantage gt (one with the gt3 type wing) ,ridiculously noisy and looking at the front lip a very brave driver taking it on the road outside my house .

^^ Aston Martin Vantage GT8 I think they were called. I saw a few in the Bristol Dealership in about 2016 and there was a Ferrari-owning prospective customer who was allowed to start one up in the showroom and rev it from cold. Dear God it made a thunderous V8 noise!
Yesterday - four GR Yarises on top of the two I saw the day before. (OK, I was at Litchfield, and then at a car meet.) But none of them was black, which is what mine will be when it arrives.

I prefer the red but that's just my personal opinion and I dont think you'll be disappointed with your choice.

Brand new Shelby Mustang. Nice to see that people are still buying cars like that, pointless, loud and a lot of fun.

Only the second I’ve seen in the metal, one in Dublin and today, I saw one as it passed me on the Bay Bridge into San Francisco.
A Maybach.

The local car collector now has a Yaris GR to go with his 500 Abarth and BMW i8 etc. Good luck to him.

I will keep the car standard when it arrives, for the remainder of this year at least. And I'd probably go for lower/better seats and a remap when Litchfield manages to crack the ECU, before I went near the suspension.

No, we saw the driver! Sadly, it was just after I took this, so didn't feel right getting a shot of the front wing with it's 'Bouncing Boobies' logo surrounding a stylised damper.

This morning, a 21 reg DBS in a very tasteful non-metallic racing green, with light tan seats.

A Porsche heritage targa ,I think the targa is the best looking 911,and a aston vantage v8 convertible ..the new one which looks spectacular from the side ,still not keen on the headlights but overall it’s stunning.

I knew they were building this at some point but hadn't realised it was out or I'd have been more prepared. A BMW iX, wow what a munter

A mint, black E60 on my way home today.
Nothing too unusual about that you may say .. .. .. until I tell you it had NO PRIVACY GLASS!
