An Alpina B6 and a Porsche 968. The Porsche has seen better days...

The 968 looks to have a Ferrari badge on the nearside front wing too.

It was a lovely day on Sunday and clearly a guy in the Jag E-Type roadster agreed. Pity it was Primrose Yellow though.
I also saw my first Aston DBX - black with black wheels, not pleasant and a Lambo Urus that was, sadly, battleship grey with black wheels. I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I like the Urus and if I was going to have one it'd be in a darkish blue with silver wheels.

We headed up to our (new to us) caravan on saturday, to check everything pover, pay for it etc prior tp an overnight last night.
Saw a pair of TVRs parked up in a lay-by just before (or after in their case I suppose!) Broxden roundabout. A 350s in front of a Cerbera .. .. .. not sure which one it was that had "failed to proceed"!!

On the way home last night I passed a frozen blue, new M4 coming the other way and it was far less objectionable that the bright yellow/green one I saw a week or so ago. However when I drove into our estate I noticed that the guy round the corner who had a really nice Champagne Quartz M4 has traded it in for the new M4 in grey primer with black wheels - it isn't a good combination to my eyes. I thought he had a bit of taste because his summer toy is an immaculate E46 M3 CSL

There's an A4 avant I pass on my commute most days in that light grey Audi do, albeit 'gloss' rather than matt, which is just plain nasty to look at, but I've seen it on other makes/models too. No thanks.

The awful 3 series estate that Racing posted elsewhere reminded me that a few weeks ago I saw an Audi A5, or RS5 that had a big, square bonnet scoop, a comedy rear spoiler and those round extended wheelarches that look as if someone cut the top off a cone and then cut it in half and glued the result to the side of a car. Truly hideous.

Ferrari 488 Spider today, they look good in the sun with the roof down.

On my run this morning, I noticed one of the new houses also has a new 911 Carrera GTS parked on the driveway. On my drive home yesterday there was a smoking hot Honda Accord too. I took the video as we drove past and that’s a still in the picture below. The unfortunate placement of the windmill behind it is unintentional and has no reflection on global warming or anything like that.

Oh dear - insurance job to pay for the GTS down-payment maybe?
Yesterday's spot on the way to our caravan was a Clan Crusader and original MR2 in convoy, both giving it the berries on a lovely country road I quite enjoy myself on occasion!
Today I managed to get these pics of a somewhat worse-for-wear TT I first saw there yesterday; not a clue what happened to it, but being a 2004 model it will doubtless be heading for the scrappy once the git plate has been taken off it.
The hole in the screen didn't appear to have resulted in any damage to the dash either - bizarre.

I reckon it takes one heck of a lot of neglect to get that bad.

I've only seen a tiny number of new Defenders since they were released but at the weekend I realised the world's supply of them is in the Lake District. It appears the odd-looking external boxes are an essential option too. Many other LR products were there too, I'd say 50% of SUVs were by LR.
On the way down I spotted a convoy of Ferrari 488 in frozen dark blue, bright orange Lamborghini Huracan and a white Aston of some sort. I'll look for the test in a future magazine.

They must all be in Harrogate- we seem to have hundreds. A lot in Matt paint/wrap.

Yeah, I saw one with this, and the useless ladder on the nearside, at the weekend. Looks really odd to me!

You can have the panel blacked out now, looks so much better and I don't like the pannier either.

Kind of surprised that I like how a metallic brown Carrera S looks.

I seem to recall the one Harry Metcalfe tested had the pannier box and it was all her could see in the wing mirror as they hadn't redesigned the mirror to accommodate which does make you wonder if it was an afterthought from the design department.

Near Camden on Monday, it was huge: Nice 328, same area: Funny isn’t it how perspectives can affect how you see something. There’s a lot of Raptors in California and they don’t seem all that big, especially considering there’s 2 sizes bigger than them over here. But when I park my car beside one, the X5 looks like a small car. I was even thinking about how small an S Class looks on the roads this side of the pond in comparison with the UK. I remember seeing the first Audi Q7’s when they came out years ago and thinking they are huge, but being in one a year ago and thinking it was a bit cramped. As a side note, Raptors are one of the highest depreciating vehicles over here. They drop about $30k in the first year, and that’s for a $65-70k truck.

You can see how big the thing is as it's (kind of) in a space, just what is the point though, in London and LHD, it must be a nightmare to drive about!!

Saw a Studebaker pickup- Studebakers always remind me of Fozzie the bear. A Rousch RS3 Mustang, all 750bhp of it. And this- don’t know what it was but it looked great.

Studebaker or a Cord perhaps? I saw a 1950's vintage Ford Wednesday, good unrestored condition but I reckon a V8 under the bonnet. The rea suspension was massive and the tyres well outside the bodywork. It sounded pretty good tho.

Given the number of youtube influencers who have had an RS6 over the last year or so, I would say the demand must be relatively low and consequentially the discounts relatively high (c10% from Drive the deal). Or maybe the drug dealers are having a bit of a golden spell!!

I was wondering the same about Volvo V90 estates, I must've seen 7 or 8 - all 68 or 69 reg - on the 10 minute trip to my mums on Sunday.
I know they were knocking them out pre-reg at a low price last year.
