McLaren 650S was behind me in traffic for about 15 minutes and then floored it as it reached the exit. It sounded really good, and they look good in orange.

Not my photo, but a friend in Texas was filling up and turned around to see this parked behind him. Used to love that show as a kid.

But did it have the flag on the roof. I guess in Texas it did.

It does have the Confederate Flag on the roof by the look of it. Wonder is the driver used the doors to get in though?

Well I heard it before I saw it, an Audi R8 that must have had a modified exhaust. It sounded phenomenal.

1961 Merc 190 SL in totally mint condition. Worth a few quid I would guess. I looked at chopping in the 911 for one of those about 7 years ago, it was £30k and the 911 was about £20k. I guess they are worth a little more these days!

I saw a lorry on the M25 earlier with a large green shipping container on the back that had, in big white letters 'Evergreen' and I couldnt help but imagine the newspaper headlines if he'd managed to Jack knife it and block the motorway...

Saw the new Ford Bronco on the back of a transporter today. Didn’t know they were released yet. Also saw a new Bentley Continental, new M3, nicely preserved E30 325i and a Dodge Challenger SRT, with tyres that said Dodge Challenger on them in red and white writing.

Oops. To be fair, it would take quite a bit to get a petrol station to go up once the pumps are turned off and the fire switch tripped.

The car had 1500 miles on it, the owner had had it a week.
Fireman reckoned it started around the battery area, my colleague said that there is an issue with these, there had been a few electrical fires already.
Wonder from an insurance perspective who is liable if there is an inherent problem, is it down to VW or will insurance still have to pay our regardless?

Insurers are contractually obliged to pay out under the policy if all terms have been complied with. It would be up to them if they wanted to pursue VW, but they would have to prove negligence.

Noticed in a neighbour's drive last night, the female half of the couple had a new car. At after 11pm and mostly in darkness due to the nearby tree, it looked like a Leon of some sort. Fast forward to this morning, nice and light, easy to see it's a 20-plate .. .. .. Corsa!! Ah well; in my defence, it was sitting in a deep shadow and it's dark blue - I can be forgiven for mistaking one white-goods shoebox for another I think!

There was a newish Golf caught fire in a McDonald's drive thru near where I work, last week. And I also heard of a road closed near home by another burning BMW.

A new lime green 4 series driving past the office. It didn't look like an M4 in fact it just looked shit!
EDIT - looking at the BMW website that colour appears to be an M3/M4 colour only - one to be avoided.

VW ID4 in the golden/green colour, parked outside one of the offices on the estate where my new job is. It's on a "git plate" too, so not a demo or loan vehicle. Does look good

Few interesting ones, an Alfa 8C today, a BMW I8 and the most interesting led to a conversation with someone- a white Lotus Esprit- the same model used in the Bond movie (octopussy?) that went underwater.
I was looking at it and another guy walked over, I asked him if it was his and he said sadly not. He was an English guy from Manchester who then told me he had just moved over to the company I was visiting and had sold a Lancia Delta Integrale before leaving, but was regretting his decision when he saw the Lotus.
Really nice guy too.

If we're on the "I think" line...... I think I was followed by a new Mokka a few days ago, for a few hundred yards. In the rear view mirror it looked like the photos of the new Mokka and it was on a 21-plate

That's an issue, agreed, but sometimes trying to tell what model is what from the same maker can be a real problem, and Vauxhall seem particularly bad for it; Mokka/Crossland/Grandland/Antara(?) all look very similar to me. There are probably fairyl obviuos differences when seen side by side, but that would probably send me to sleep!
