DBS Superleggera filling up in a local petrol station this morning. The rather spindly-lawyer-looking type (of indeterminate, yet elderly appearance) driver was already there at the pump when I arrived, checked and topped all 4 tyres, and he went in to pay just as I was resetting the low-pressure warning on mine.
I waited for him to go; it sounds wonderful when opened up even a little. He drove along Saracen Street (for those who know) so may well be a lawyer "with connections". Ho hum.

720S Spider on Tuesday in that fantastic orange.
A new style BMW Z4 which is far better looking in the flesh than photos.

There was a hot rod driving down my street on Sunday, complete with shiny paint job, 4” ground clearance and a massive V8 in the front. Not my kind of car but well executed!

Pug 205 GTI blasted past me on the back road from Luncarty to Stanley today. Looked in extremely good nick, and sounded good too. Driven in a slightly dickish manner, but you can't have everything!

Nice, fast bit of road that and the next stretch down to Murthly (?) is even better, as I'm sure you know

A new style BMW Z4 which is far better looking in the flesh than photos. Do you think so? I saw one yesterday and thought it looks a mess.
On the same journey I also saw an immaculate Bedford Astramax! There can't be many of those around, it was maroon.

Was it in the traditional place of the Astramax, the fast lane of the motorway? They were always suspiciously quick.

No, it was very much stationary on a driveway but it looked fast.

First time I've seen a 2nd generation Evoque on the road. Although the same size by measurement (apparently), it looks bigger than the previous generation. I think the flanks are more bulbous which gives an impression of it being bigger. Looked good though.

We had the pleasure of staying with friends in Glasgow at the weekend and I saw more modern Maseratis while walking near their house in 2 days than I have in the last 3 or 4 years.
I also saw a Huracan driving along Pollockshaws road and a near neighbour has a bright blue McLaren of some nature.
The friends are also the proud owners of a 1988 Merc 500SEC in immaculate condition with 55k miles and a 2002 500SL with 35k.
EDIT There was also a white (yuk) Aston Rapide and oddly I saw a silver one on the way home last night.

All black i3S on the M1 heading north. Looked really odd in all black and from memory I think it had black wheels as well.....
Today I didn't see a bright silver 7-series in Higham Ferrers - which looks like a very interesting place. Lots of very old stone-built stuff then apparently a gap of a few hundred years in building before some modern stuff. The A45 to the west is a bit of a shambles, 70mph restricted down to 40 whilst some bridge repair works are done, with a token "thank you for your patience" sign from Network Rail

We really like where we live, it’s a lovely little town They are replacing both bridges over the railway so they can finish electrification of the line, the current ones are too low. We’ve got 8 months of traffic chaos before it’s back to normal.

Saw a Harris Magnum motorbike yesterday, up the hill from Killin. The rider was stopped at a burger van and chatting to 2 plod motorcyclists and a plod traffic car driver.
Also spotted a black McLaren making progress between Comrie and Crieff, a lovely fast road with, unusually, a good surface.

On the way home last night I saw a very tidy 1989 Toyota Corolla GL Liftback on gold wheels.

And they're really quite small, aren't they?

I didn't think it was that small really, on a normal (up here) sized rural A road it did a reasonable job of filling it's side of the carriageway. It'd be much more at home on something like the A9 or the old A1.

In comparison with the supercar norm, I think they're quite petite.

Was passed on the M3 this morning by a 19-plate Alpine in white. Looks as good in the metal as it does in the mag photos. If I had the money to spend on a sports car, it would be on my shortlist
