Design wise Audi are making some right stinkers at the moment. The A5 is far too busy while the entire Q range is a mess. I they put an Audi badge on dog turd, people would still buy them.

540i X Drive M Sport. Looked very nice in dark blue. These were taken just before a dimwit in a Mazda3 reversed into the space behind it and sat munching on her food with her car resting on the back bumper of the BMW.
EDIT: why no photos? Clicked add images, uploaded to imgbb and then it opened a new post window. Tried again and it then shut the forum window and opened google. So no idea where the photos went.

In the last few days I have seen both a recent RS4 and a TT with the front number plate removed and stuck on the bumper a la Alfa Romeo. The RS4 looked much more aggressive but the TT just looked as though someone was trying too hard (possibly because the re-sited number plate was squint!)

I too have seen a 540i in that dark blue and think it looks great.

It's a road teaffic collision. They swapped detail, whilst she was still munching on her food, with much arm waving from her. The BMW driver, who looked every bit the kind of chap who would buy a 6 cylinder 5er and who I had guessed was the owner before he left, seemed very calm.

Good god, I have turned into my dad. I can't manage the tech! I tried the imgur apl. Installed, signed up, opened it aaaaand - no record of my username. Then the app opened and I just looked at it and thought, "what the fuck is this shit?".

I'm going that way too. I used to love technology, but I look at it now as a necessary evil rather than embracing it.

It was also a fore-runner of the Stilo, as there was a version out in the early/mid 90's too. That one might have been out round about the same time as the Tipo - or morphed into it, I can't remember now. Yes, I remember the one from the 90s no problem. The was the Bravo (3 doors) and Brava (5 doors) and Marea saloon and estate.
I completely forgot the Bravo replaced the Stilo.
There are loads around up here and a friend had 2. They're not bad cars, just unexciting.

I reminded myself in the A8 thread that I had seen a final version of the SAAB 9-5 and have to say it is still a very elegant car. Maybe if they'd done a hard riding one and called it S Sport or M Line it would've done a lot better?

Andrew, Ed, Colin, Nick, Dan, Dan doesn't have the same ring to it as Pugh,Pugh, Barney McGre, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb.
On my way in this morning I Was passed by a new 5-series. It's big and bulky but the styling does at least do a very good job of disguising its size.
I also saw a new C3 in a sort of mid-to-dark blue with black roof. That colour combination definitely does not suit it ! It looked revolting

The UK colour choice for the new Fiesta is IMHO thoroughly miserable. I've been invited to a launch event by my local dealership next weekend and will try to call in on my way home from work on Friday as I'm due out on Saturday

Was passed by a Ford Popular in two-tone green on the A9 (South-bound) today. Granted I was taking it easy, but even so he was caning it for a 60+ year old car!
On the same journey saw a proper T-Bird heading North, in that Red. Sadly, he had the top up (the woos!)

Mercedes 600 Grosser. A real one, driven by a flunky with two passengers about 30yards behind him. Turned into the Old Bailey so make of that what you will.

Awesome. Very Witches of Eastwick. It was as I drove past your office I saw it first then filtered to get close and have a proper drive by. They really ride low compared to the modern penchant for cars that look like 4x4s when they're just cars. It was also immaculate.

Today is a beautiful day and since about 9am there has been a constant stream of motorbikes and convertibles heading north to enjoy Loch Lomond and beyond. The thing that prompted me to post this was the sound of about 10 Porsches passing the office, all convertible 911's and Boxsters, bar one which looked like a 964 in a nice dark blue metallic with his sunroof open. Oh to be part of that convoy.

This week, two supercars on my commute on separate days. A white McLaren 12C on Tuesday morning, and a metallic light green Huracan under full bore acceleration out of junction on Wednesday evening. Outstanding noise!

My neighbour who had her previous motor for at least 13 years (she had it when I moved here) has just changed its replacement, A Citroen Cactus, for a Hyundai after a single year. It must've been proper shit...

Saw my first Velar today going south on the A1m. Didn't think they were realeased yet? I've seen a few on transporters. Had a sit and a prod at the Great Yorkshire show. Nice enough but small inside and the show one was £70k +. Mental.
