I had to laugh at this one. Good old Aussie language It's amazing what you say when you think your number is up. Many decades ago I was caught in a cattle crush between two angry Charolais cows and for a moment it seemed like my time had come. I remember thinking afterwards that my last words would have been recorded as, "for fucks sake".

I stayed on a Canadian ranch for 10 days in 1977 and got involved with herding and branding, Longhorns. We were informed how to get a Coo moving by twisting the tail and pushing forwards. Right in the last section of corale before the branding and de-bollocking pen and it was tight quarters. As the two Coo's kicked back they were stopped from causing permanent injury by the cross bar at my back. "Bollocks", the reply from the regular hand was "They still there"? I had bruises right up my inner thighs for weeks but that was from the Coo's tendons rather than the hoof's

How technology has moved the performance game forward very quickly.

I suspect lower kerbweight and 4wd were the main factors.
And the turbo.

I was more interested to see the fruits of Blarno's work Oddly enough, beyond putting all the parts into big boxes, I had no part in building that car. That one was entirely assembled in the USA, one of 10 to be built that way.

Was watching the FOS earlier, and went lloking for some in-car footage of the hill. Didn't find an awful lot (yet!) but did find this.
Impressions? I thought the MP4/13 sounded and went fantastically, whereas the ID-R was impressively quick, but reeeally annoying to listen to!
Anyway .. .. ..

I watched that. He's one lucky bugger to have a garage like that. Fair play to him though, he does actually drive his cars. It's not a museum.

Love this guy's tests.... This one is interesting, tech in tyres is amazing in that a high performance all season tyre is now around 1% off a UHP summer tyre for hot dry/wet road use - and as he says, 200% better for snow braking/traction! Many of his vids are worth a watch...

This came up in my suggestions... I found it absolutely fascinating and hope that one day soon, their suggestions are acted upon as far as a new search goes

There are plenty of new cars in this video.
I am not sure the new C63 sounds anything like special enough, the new M2 looks lively and it's good to see (hear) JLR testing new cars with a V8
The Mono sounds very race car like.

A lot of tall pretend off-roaders struggling to get round the bends there. I don't know why the manufacturers take stuff like that there, it's only going to make it awful on real roads.
As for the Mono sounding race car like, the engine in the R is pretty much a race engine, as is the gearbox.
