I used to be able to say "Happy new year" in Mandarin plus a little conversational stuff but I never went very far with it. Never went very far with her either, sadly.

These are well worth a watch for any motorsport fan. Hilarious, and I hope they are both back for 2021.

All Macron's doing with blame trying to be pinned on the UK. Mostly European truckers who wont be home for Christmas.

Nose to spite face comes to mind but that is sadly, all too common.

Anyone else been watching the "Car Trek" series on YouTube? IMHO much better than Top Gear/Grand Tour stuff with Clarkson et al:

I'm sure it could be better but those three are trying to act like they are the TG trio and in the process manage to be quite insufferable.

I liked this, a car that was one of the top dog supercars when I was in primary school. He paid £80k for it, a 512BB sat unused for 12 years, but the only UK example ever made in white. Without researching it I reckon that's a £250k+ car all day long when restored (the restoration will cost much of what he paid for it again mind).

Wasn't it the oaf Evans who had all his car collection painted white for some unfathomable reason?

It was said Oaf!
That guy should've left the 512 dirty and then punted it through an auction as a barn find, he could've doubled his money!

It was said Oaf! That guy should've left the 512 dirty and then punted it through an auction as a barn find, he could've doubled his money! It basically was a barn find. A driveway find anyway... This guy bought it to do it up. When he put it into storage before cleaning it, someone stole the tool kit and some other bits - not sounding like much but totaling £15k or something ridiculous at 512 prices, where Ferrari seem to charge what they like. Clearly whoever did it either knew what they were looking for, or took bits they thought would not be missed from an unloved car - I did wonder if it would have happened if he had cleaned it up first, as it was it looked like something owned by someone who didn't know what it was and who would not miss them. Now the sellers may be in trouble as he announced the theft well afterwards and volumes are tiny, he may well find the parts again - but proving the ownership and theft will be a nightmare, better off claiming from the storage people's insurers (it was allegedly 24/7 CCTV but naturally there were no tapes).

A pair of these flew over our place a few weeks ago on exercise. They are odd things.

Apparently the rotors are too small to allow the to autorotate in case of engine failures which is commented on a lot. The two engines being cross connected should cut this down but they appear to be very noisy and talk about FOD!

A cracking short film, the special effects are all achieved with a free piece of software called Blender. www.blender.org/
