Startup on Prime. Martin Freeman in bad guy role. Addictive viewing IMO. Watched the first episode the other night. I have never watched anything on TV with so much shagging in one episode. I find that very hard to believe!

I've recently become obsessed with Sons Of Anarchy. Don't know how I missed it first time around.

SOA is brilliant. It had me captivated throughout. Breaking Bad was the same for me.

SOA was good ,but got silly towards the end as these things tend to.

Watched the latest episode of The Grand Tour.
I’ve also been watching The Royle Family on Amazon.
I noticed a similarity. Both are looking to be funny, one genuinely is, the other has its moments.
In the GT, the ideas get progressively more stupid as the seasons go on. In The Royle Family, Dave gets progressively more stupid as the seasons go on.
Anyway, the 3 cars were terrible choices as always, but the Caterham was the most impressive to me.
Also, what Hammond was doing with the tracks I don’t know, but he’s the Dave of the GT...

There is apparently another Hamster/May/Clarkson special going around but I could not find it on the stick'o'vision.

Yeah, that's the GT Amazon thing. I watched it yesterday and while OK, there things do seem to get sillier each year.
The Bentley was impressive, but I liked the Caterham too.

The Institute by Stephen King. A bit of a difficult topic and slow going due to that, well woven story nonetheless. Usual SK depth of plot and not much will turn out the way it seems at the moment going by past books.

Watched JoJo Rabbit last night and really enjoyed it. It's about a 10 year old boy in the Hitler Youth, towards the end of WW2, who finds a Jewish girl hiding in his attic. He also has Adolf Hitler as an imaginary friend. Good cast as well as some genuinely laugh out loud moments taking the piss out of the Nazis, as well as some very sad and tragic moments.

Anyone watch the Pembrokeshire Murders?
Very strange for me to watch as the main character was a good friend (lost touch after he moved away) - gives a really good insight into 'based on true events' - the character as portrayed is nothing like him nor are any of his family circumstances. Strangely one of the policemen in the team is played by another good friend.

Doing late lambing shifts and waiting for things to happen allows me to catch up on TV and series. I've finally watched the whole of The Pacific series. Shocking, moving and a must see.

We actually watched it a few years ago as someone bought us Series 1 on DVD (remember them?) and we enjoyed it that much that we bought the remaining series.
Didn't stop us watching it all again on Netflix though.
