Currently watching the second season of Happy! It's properly fucked up. Happy is the last thing I’d expect you to be watching! No idea of the content, just based on the name..,,

Mrs Tim discovered the anniversary specials of The League of Gentlemen so we watched the first one (of 3) last night. Would've watched more if our internet hadn't packed up!

I loved them. The League of Gentlemen Live Again is well worth it's asking price too. I think that's on iPlayer too The first of the specials was wonderfully creepy/uncomfortable. Unlike most other resurrected TV shows they've managed to achieve the feel of the originals.

COBRA on Sky. Just don't bother. Awful stuff. Not read a good word about it, so your review is duly noted. Into series three of "This is Us" on Prime (I think it's an NBC show) and still loving it. One of the few things W2.1 and I watch together, along with Graham Norton and Call the Midwife. And the News.

It was a good episode and a welcome return.

Caught episode 1 of The Outsider. Based on one of Stephen Kings better recent books, so I already know what’s going on, but it was pretty good.

The dark tower from the books by Stephen King, I have read the books several times now and they are brilliant. The film on the other hand, despite Ron Howard having a hand in it is bloody terrible. Whoever let that piece of crap out of the cutting room deserves to be castrated, from the neck down. What a complete waste of time and money.

On consideration I think it would have to be from the scrotum up or the neck down but any variation of those would pretty much reduce the need for a colostomy.

Just watched TG on iPlayer and agree with everything said. The bit where Harris got out of the car on the driving range and started scurrying around in the dinosaur suit was comedy gold and had me in absolute stitches of laughter. And the “bungee a Metro off the dam” bit with Flintoff was just gobsmackingly bonkers. I just managed to catch this episode. Overall pretty good, and the team are starting to gel. But that Metro off the dam bit was just insanely scary. So many things could have gone wrong that I can't believe it passed Health & Safety. I would have straight out refused to do it, so I reckon Flintoff has got literally balls of steel to even get into that driver's seat.

Mr. Robot. Just on with series 2. Quite interesting. Started this again from the beginning as I couldn't remember what happened fully. Nearly at the end of season 1 but gotta say that Amazon's new thing of slotting an ad for another programme at the beginning of every episode is properly pissing me off. I pay for this shit and don't wanna watch fucking adverts, you tax dodging cunts.

The second one, assuming you are familiar with the pair's history, was absolutely fantastic.
Enjoyed Hidden Figures, about African American women involved with the space programme in the 60s, although it appears to be something of a simplification. Got the book to start next.

That hidden figures was a cracking program. Still catching up on the expanse but the David Tennent thing about a US town and a teen murder is about as interesting as watching a slug crawl up a glass pane. Agree re the adverts on prime but they are used to ripping the shit out of everything so not a surprise.

There should be a skip button on paid services at the very least. It could be getting the heave ho when it's up in May if they've not changed it by then.

Binged ITV's White House Farm - the light channel has taken to producing some good stuff of late, this is the dramatization of the Bamber family murders from the mid 80s. A Confession was very good too, bad the wobbly camerawork which didn't make it feel more natural - quite the reverse.

TG last night. 72 grand for a Renault!
Who is the target audience for a 5 door hot hatch with no need for rear doors (As there are no seats)? It's an odd spec as well - CC brakes, but only up front, and £12k worth of carbon wheels. I have a lot of experience with carbon wheels and they are a bloody nightmare. Not only do you have to be extra careful mounting tyres to them*, they are an absolute slag to repair and are very, very prone to chipping when faced with normal roads. Even on the track, they can be trouble - if you drop off the edge of a kerb or hit an apex badly, it's time for an expensive repair job. It's not like an alloy wheel where you can weld up a crack and heat the body to make it more malleable and force it back round - if you crack a carbon wheel it's goodnight Vienna.
*You've all seen your average tyre fitter, they struggle to breathe and talk at the same time. Not a chance I'd want one mounting tyres to a set of wheels tht cost more than a supermini.
