Grand Tour
£26k for a Yaris. TWENTY SIX THOUSAND POUNDS.
I genuinely thought the brown Polo was a Golf until he said it was a Polo.
Still undecided about the Fiesta, but at least it's still available as a 3 door with a manual gearbox.

Well luckily for you Top Gear also reviewed the Fiesta this week so you can get a second opinion!

I haven't watched Top Gear since the first episode with the Panamera and Ferrari. I just can't do Chris Harris.

There is a lot of similarity between the cars tested even down the foreign plated left hookers. Enjoying both

Also implies that the previous three series he has featured in were watched... In dribs and drabs. Joey Tribbiani made it watchable at times, but no matter who they get to do it, it can't recreate the camararderie and general laddish pisstaking of the original 3.
Plus, I dislike Harris as a journo, let alone as a presenter.

I didn't enjoy parts of this series that much. Rory Reid gets right on my tits. I like MLB AND Chris Harris.

I like Harris as a solo presenter, less so as part of an ensemble. I'll be sorry to see MLB go.

Binge watched Line of Duty season 4 yesterday as I'd not seen it yet and S5 is on soon. Nodded off in the last episode so I need to watch it again later!
Also watched a thing called Barry on NowTV with Bill Hader about a jaded hitman. I thought it was really good. The actor who played the slightly effeminate Chechnyan gangster was very good.

I thought this series of TG Matt Le Blanc and Chris Harris have ironically finally got into their stride and there has seemed some genuine camaraderie between them - which is a nice change from the old trio when it was always Clarkson as the leader of the gang, Hammond looking doe-eyed at him hanging on his every word and May being the awkward friend who was there just so the leader had someone to take the piss out of. May and Clarkson are much more watchable when they’re by themselves and Hammond just gets on my tits whether he’s with them or by himself.

I thought the last series of Vikings was terrible. Lagertha's hair turning white in a short period of time, Ivar becoming a "god", people transporting from one country to another in a mere edit, the whole Iceland/Floki storyline etc. All bollocks.
The Last Kingdom is much more enjoyable.

They ran out of ideas basically .

New band discovery for me
Unleash the Archers
Aside from the super cool name, their lead singer is incredible and the songs have more hooks than the hook department of " Hooks R Us "

I agree on Vikings - I couldn't recall any significant events in the season - yet it is back for another - hopefully ends on a high

Is it wrong that I knew what that was going to sound like before I clicked the link? Good to hear a female vocalist being just that: A female vocalist. Too many of them try to emulate or compete with male vocalists and just end up sounding shit. (I'm looking at you, Lizzy Hale of Halestorm)

Turned shite when they killed Ragnar off. Floki had fuck all to do and Rollo didn't have anyone to be jealous of anymore so he became Frankish!

Halestorm are lightweight radio friendly wank at best (although they did a reasonable job covering Pat Benatar’s Hell is for children).
It’s rare to get decent metal with a great female lead, most of it is too symphonic for my liking.

Unleash the Archers? I'd rather listen to The Archers. Generic, identikit heavy metal. It's got a lot of hooks because they scoured every band's back catalogue and nicked them. It's a no from me.

Hooks, what hooks? Hooks imply a catchy tune and there isn't one to be heard. I'd rather listen to Boyzone than this heavyweight, non radio-friendly wank.

It was. At times it was hard to watch and other times laugh out loud. The ending seemed a bit rushed but overall a very good little series.

The ending seemed a bit rushed but overall a very good little series. I enjoyed it too. His character was very much a characature of how Ricky Gervais is in his stand up shows but it was he way some of the little things mattered so much to some of the other characters that made it quite watchable. I kept expecting the old lady on the bench to turn out to be a ghost.
