Not 100% the spec I'd go for if ordering one and happy to wait 2 years, but very close. Essentials are covered, such as memory seats, matrix headlights, glass sunroof, sports exhaust, sport chrono, surround view, adaptive cruise etc and I do prefer the Sport Design pack, but don't think I could bring myself to paying £3k for it. Not my first choice colour combination or wheels I'd either, but I do like it and Bordeaux red looks better in real life. On the face of it, it seems overpriced as usual, but it's actually relatively decent value imho. List price for this spec is £130k and the cheapest 992 is £93k for a base Carrera that's close to 18 months older with a lower spec and higher miles. finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsche-911-carrera-s-preowned-Y538X0

That is really nice Martin. Forget what I said in the salary sacrifice post, sell both the current cars, buy this and whatever is big but cheap on the PHEV front through the company scheme.

Stop it John! I know this isn't very 'GTS' in spec, but I do prefer leather and centre lock winter wheels can be tricky plus winter wheels are very expensive (£7k vs £4k), although if I was serious I'd probably end up back at the centre locks. It's more GT than GTS, which I guess is more me.... Not sure I could justify spending that much on a car though, even through the depreciation wouldn't be a huge amount more than I've been used to and £20k more than the used one I linked to for a better specced car that's 2 years newer could be thought of as decent value! The £20k I've saved vs plan on my cars depreciation so far covers that off! www.porsche-code.com/PNRCEGK3

This is a much more sensible option all round. I think the Carrera is on the longest lead time at the moment, so long in fact the view is that if you order one now you'd end up with a 992.2 in two or so years time. www.porsche-code.com/PNJILNM4

His doesn't have the single cupholder mind.

His doesn't have the single cupholder mind. I wouldn’t give it space on the drive then 😒

His doesn't have the single cupholder mind. It's removable as it can be replaced with an ashtray or removed to create a larger storage space, it's probably just missing. Just had a look, it's £70 or £80 for the ashtray so a cheap fix in the world of Porsche.

Quite. I almost never step foot in a Tesco.
Supermarket snobbery is very important. Our closest is a Waitrose which when built made the M&S food hall unviable and it became a Poundland. I still prefer the Sainsbury’s super store just under a mile away as I know where everything is.

I was just using Tesco as an example, I'm sure the sandwich was actually an overpriced motorway services one I didn't look too closely as it had been in the car overnight by the time saw it and it was egg

I can't think of anything else bad to add. Except I was feeling fragile from the previous night's curry/few beers and when he floored it from about 10mph I felt nauseous for a few seconds. Anyway, enough of that. Have you bought that blue one yet?

It’s gotta be a 365 for the 6 lights compared to the later models. Love it

I love these and always have. Years ago I worked with a Polish girl who had done some nannying in Belgium. One of the criteria was to be able to drive so she could ferry the family’s two kids about town. They gave her the keys to one of these!

That is rather lovely. And does the price reflect that it is going to bankrupt you in maintenance? As I sort of expected it to be more money in the current price crazyness.

Black carpets / lower trim and I would love that.

Very nice, only a bit less tan on the dash and Daytona seats rather then diamond stitched leather away from perfection

Black carpets / lower trim and I would love that. Agreed re the trim options. I'm assuming the leather is actually dark browny / tan and that it's just some of the photos that make it look "accident" yellow-brown? Although for a nearly 5 year old luxo-barge (albeit admittedly a rare and uber-optioned one), £48k does still seem rather a lot of cash. After all, don't the trade always tell you that options are "worthless" when it comes to trading a car in....

After all, don't the trade always tell you that options are "worthless" when it comes to trading a car in.... It’s more brown than ‘accident’! It doesn’t really have any options (the advert isn’t right) other than the colour, as the M760 has always had pretty much everything as standard, so broadly the same as optioning the Ultimate Pack. So the amazing stereo, voodoo suspension, rear wheel steering, full Merino leather, rear screens etc etc. It is a lot in isolation, but just have a look at what else you could get for under £50k at the moment and it won’t have the FG. It’s the cheapest one on Autotrader too.
