This is my perfect spec but would prefer black rather than orange leather! It has full merino, blind spot assist and surround camera. The latter 2 are important in getting Mrs M behind the wheel....bit leggy though www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401265923938

We will probably drop them, we have Netflix and Now through BT and borrowed Disney plus Prime and there is bugger all on!

In 3, got the manufacturer in 1 but couldn't get the number right. I got the manufacturer one one but never got the right number, I was convinced it was one higher and then went with the alphabet on the end!

A rare find indeed, but even then not on the tops of the doors like the M4...
Find me a snapper rocks blue 440i convertible, with full Merino and I'll be there!

I was looking at G20 shape M4s even the last 20plate cars can be had for 30k. Saw a nice main dealer one for 33k. That is serious depreciation given they were pushing £70k new. You mean F30-shape... But yes. I do love the design of them. But for my money a 440i is a better car more of the time for most people. It has a nicer-sounding engine as well and you don't suffer the M tax. If only they did a 440i with a full merino interior....I can't find any

I think with older cars the depreciation saving is offset by increased maintenance. I have a soft spot for the L322 generation RR

Of relevance to this discussion, and according to Susie Dent from Countdown, there is a ye olde English word for people who insist they are right even when there is clear evidence that they are wrong, which is "mumpsimus"! She also proffers up the relevant "ultracrepidarian" (also dating back to times of yore), which means someone who loves to talk about subjects they know nothing about... So, for example, Donald Trump would seem to be an example of an ultracrepidarian mumpsimus...as would some Twitter-frequenting cyclists by the sounds of things. Both words need greater use in everyday conversations!

I got the preceding owner's address from a copy of the V5 the dealer left with me and the original owners address was on all the Volkswagen service invoices
Preceding owner seems to have used every fixing strip to put on the 4D number plates, I can't budge them...hair dryer/fishing wire and acetone beckons tomorrow so I can put the plain boring ones on
