For the last 25 years or so, I have been listening to heavy, often violent, music and playing violent video games and I have, largely, grown into a balanced and kind human. I was watching Robocop and Predator from a very young age, was exposed to Guns N Roses at around the same time. I find that both the music and games help me escape from reality and stop me from turning my darkest thoughts into reality. In short - violent games and music don't make me want to kill people, they stop me from doing so.
Maybe it's because I can separate fantasy from reality.

Above all that, I want a Pantera. That thing looked and sounded epic.

I struggle to tell the difference between the 6 and 7. This is more of the same and I can't get even a tiny bit excited about it. Only a matter of time until they're in the weeds on airbags, with gigantic wheels and camber.

The wheels look awfully similar to those on a 1999/2000 Mondeo ST200.

Also, all new is pushing it a little bit.
I agree. They say that 1% of parts are carried over so it's only 99% new. But it does look 100% the same.

I think the BMW sex toy/1990s PC joystick gearlever spoils the look of the centre console somewhat. Not very Tally Ho is it?

As you say it looks like pretty much every other 4 wheel Morgan. I saw earlier in the week that a majority stake has been sold to an Italian venture capital firm called InvestIndustrial. Are there any British owned car firms left?I can think of one...
Also, all new is pushing it a little bit.

Not since I owned the Legacy really, that was fun. People would hear an Impreza, but see what looked like a Toyota Carina. It was debadged for a while as well, so nobody other than those in the know knew what the hell was going on.
The 405 Mi16x4 was a good sleeper as well, especially before I fitted the aftermarket wheels. It looked like a sensible family saloon car was coming up behind them, but a flame-spitting 4 wheel drift machine would go past them.

I don't know, I'm not German.
Is it the same reason the Ford Ecosport is pronounced as Ecko-sport?

My first and only 19 plate was a bike of some description that filtered past me in traffic yesterday.

Horrendous. I also feel sorry for whoever has to mount the tyres - lining those silver sections up with the spokes on the wheels will be a proper fiddle.

Did I imagine it, or is E-Tron pronounced as "eh-tron" and not "ee-tron"?
Because that is helmetry of the highest order if so.

I still haven't seen one yet, although we have recently registered a new car, but no plates have arrived and the car is now with its owner.

As soon as you said rear end wobble I knew it would be bushes. The Postbox did exactly the same and it was the bushes in the dogbones.

Is the fast version going to be called the Aze?

720 bhp is a lot for the smallest Ferrari, don't you think? The full fat big boy 12 pot job is going to have to have more than 1000 bhp at this rate. When will it end?
Saying that, I like the style of the wheels. Other than that, it's just A N Other new Ferrari.

Boom. Only roughly 18 months to go until the big 200.
45000 miles in 2.5 years, still on the original clutch....

I actually turned Top Gear off part way through the last section of the fast estates bit. Which is weird, because I love fast estates, but neither of them did anything for me.
Also, Chris Harris still annoys the living shit out of me.

I mean, you're going to be dead anyway, so why does it matter what you're getting carried in? Not like you can do anything about it.
Shove me on a burning raft and punt me out to sea.

I had 2 Astra GTEs with that dash and they were surprisingly good, with the exception of the large speedo lettering which flickered under hard acceleration and the fuel gauge, which despite being split into single segments, only depleted 2 segments at a time.
Switching to KMH when people weren't looking was more fun than it should have been - Jo's face when she glanced at the speedo and thought we were doing 140 up the M60 was a picture.

I test drove an acid green one back in 1999 and it was fantastic. That engine is a proper snorty, old skool twin cam beast and I can only imagine it makes the Almera a bit of a weapon - it was more than enough in the Primera I had.

Hence why I don't go to cities very often! Manchester is pretty easy, as the tram is cheap and accessible from Timperley. And parking is free if you dump your car down a residential side street.

You can't beat a good old fashioned rummage around, especially when it comes to something as important as brakes. I was replacing mine last week as the last MOT gave an advisory on the rears. Naturally, I did the whole lot and it was a good job - the front pads, whilst still having bucketloads of material left on them, had worn only on the edges and made a right mess of the discs as well. Replacing them also removed a knock that was only present under braking, so win-win.
