New registration time, can't imagine I'll be seeing too many today.

Even if I was picking one up, I think I would be delaying it a few days.

My colleague had 4 out of 4 cancel, I've had 1 cancel due to the weather, 1 cancel as their finance company neglected to transfer us the payment and the other 2 collected ok.
Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be worse than today; I have 4 going tomorrow, 1 has already rung just checking I'm good to go, however she will see how things look in the morning.

I saw one at the local Ford dealer last Saturday but as it was in their pound it doesn't really count. I've been stranded at home today, we seem to have caught the worst of the snow in Surrey and it's only just stopped falling (was falling from about 6am). About 5 or 6 inches of the stuff, have cleared the driveway and path and pavement outside the house twice during the day but you'd never know from looking at it now

I saw two Discoveries, a Discovery Sport and an E-PACE (work vehicles) plus a Range Rover Sport and an F-PACE that actual people had bought with their own money.

I see the I-Pace is now configurable online. I choose a mid spec SE but still set me back £79500. How doe that compare to the Tesla which dare I say is better looking but with a far worse interior.

I see not only do they charge £100 for floor mats but also £100 for a locking glovebox!

I see not only do they charge £100 for floor mats but also £100 for a locking glovebox! I’ve just configured one and thought exactly the same! I hope it’s got a significantly better interior than the F Pace, or the pricing is even more of a joke. Keeeping it sensible, I got to just over £80k.

I have no doubt I shall plenty around the wealthy innards of London soon enough, given it combines the three yummy-mummy touchpoints of "ECO", "SUV" and "LUX".

He ordered the orange one on a Sunday and rang on the Monday; saying the wife wanted the same but in grey, it was all done over the phone. We have a fair few Dacia customers with multiple Dacia's in the family, more so than Renault customer, my colleague has sold 5 to the same family.

A neighbour had a 3 door Evoque and a TT, but she’s swapped that for a 3 door Evoque. At least they are different colours, but they’re both the same (lowish) trim levels.

Grey Golf R estate. I only realised it was an R because of the 4 pipes. What a dull looking car.

2 of 12 I've handed over already; his and hers Dacia Sandero Stepway Summits: There's a (presumably) his and hers pair of Dacias I pass on the way to my granddaughter's school - perhaps it's Dacia thing? Personally, I like to have two very different cars so you can enjoy a different driving experience - as surprisingly good as a Dacia is though, I don't imagine many buyers are choosing them for the driving experience. My sister-in-law is thinking of swapping her 55 plate C4 for a Stepway - she thought it was starting to show signs of gremlins after her partner replaced the indicator bulb and it still wouldn't work. I took a look and he'd replaced the wrong bulb! (and he's an electrician!).

My parents got back from holiday on Sunday, new car picked up Monday. Not an 18 plate exactly, but was registered in March. 630d GT M Sport in Bluestone with Ivory leather. It’s got a decent standard spec (panoramic roof, professional nav, voodoo LEDs, metallic, reversing camera, memory seats etc), so he’s only added an electric towbar, comfort seats, rear heated seats, dark walnut trim and parking assistant plus (surround camera). He’s not driven it much yet, but says is much more comfortable/refined and already feels quite a bit quicker than his 6 cylinder F11 525d. Somhes very happy, which is the main thing.

Still not convinced with the external looks but there is no doubting its practicality and comfort. The new 530D I had as a courtesy car was very spritely for a large car so I am sure he will enjoy the effortless performance.

I’m not convinced either. I’ve had a proper look at one in my local dealer and there’s plenty of room in the back but there wasn’t anything that made me want one. It’s officially an OAPs car now as well!
It’s a bit of a 5/7 hybrid, mainly 5 interior but with the same wheelbase and length of a 7 Series which is why it’s pretty spacious inside. My Dad really liked the slightly higher driving position without going for an SUV, as he thinks it will make it easier to get in and out of as he gets older (he’s in his 70s but still very fit). He also has a think for big hatchbacks, having had a lot through the years (2 x Renault 20, Rover SD1, Granada Scorpio, 2 x 9000 CSE).

Forgot to mention some more good service from Bluebell BMW. My Dad traded his car in and left it with them the first week of Jan as they were going on holiday for 8 weeks so it didn’t make sense not to. The salesman picked them up from home yesterday so they could drive away in the new car together. Nice touch.

No, not a looker.
Saw my first 18-plate today over lunch - a black Panamera S estate-thingy in what I assume was the hybrid version (the script at the back had green edging).
