Just to wish everyone a happy Christmas and a great 2018.
I hope we all have, if not peace in our time, peace for our time.
Good luck you and yours folks.

Have a great Christmas and happy new year folks. +1.... not sure just how hectic ours will be.... both daughters and both grand-kids with us and my mum collapsed and was taken into hospital yesterday...... chest infection that hasn't gone away with antibiotics prescribed by the doctor. It left her too weak to standup, and she is likely to be "in" for at least another week

My best wishes for a decent recovery, I know from recent experience antibiotic doses like that knock you for six.

Good will and all that to all.
It's been a pretty shitty last few weeks, what with car accidents, water leaks, buyers pulling out of the house sale and terrible earache, but I'm hopeful a new buyer will show up and we can finally move into our new house in March. I've never bought anything bigger than a sofa brand new before.

I'll obviously be preoccupied with moving so it'll be really busy for me too.

Merry Xmas one and all. Personally I love this time of year and will happily share cheery greetings and general bonhomie with all and sundry - even if they are a set of bastards! Drink, food and new socks and underwear - what's not to like?

Tax Returns and 16hr days.
I'll still make time for Christmas day though and a couple of days at St Andrews for New Year.

.... a couple of days at St Andrews for New Year.
We'll have to arrange a meet sometime you're through (although not at New Year when I'll be away!)
I hope everyone has a good time. I'm certainly looking forward to nearly 2 weeks off and, hopefully, some quiet time with friends and family.

I did wonder if I saw you a few years ago as a green Fiat Coupe made it's way out of the car parking behind the beach!

Was it driven by a suave, young gentleman with impeccable taste?
If yes then it wasn't me
It probably was, though. I don't think I've seen another green Coupe the whole time I've had mine.

I can recall only ever seeing one other (green one, that is), but it was in extremely poor condition. In Possil, so perhaps not that surprising!

Actually there was another green one at the Fiat/Alfa specialist in Dundee a few years back. One of the mechs bought it to save it from the scrapper but he ended up giving it away to someone else for spares. I remember it was pretty rough.

As little as possible. Crimble lunch and ting at home on Crimble day, nibbles and stuff at my Mum's on Boxing Day, then nothing until I return to work on the 2nd.

Merry Christmas from a bunch of pissheads clinging to a hill in the North Pennines. I hope, sincerely hope, that everyone is clinging to a bit more than a hill. Unless they come in pairs dood.

Christmas on 24th in the UK; fly off to Vienna on 25th; back on NYE. Are you staying in Vienna or passing through ? I was in Vienna a few weeks ago for the Xmarse markets and general site seeing. All in all, bit of a strange place, but the food was lovely. I had a horseradish soup with black pudding that was off the chart awesome. I am a sucker for pukka Apfel Strudle as well.

Merry Christmas everyone. I have finished work now until 2nd Jan and hope to give the GT4 some proper workouts during 28-31 December.
On the subject of green Fiat Coupes - I saw on in the car park just before the Bourton-on-the-Water 10k race in 1997. That was probably my best memory from that day because I didn't run especially well and had my arse kicked by a few people I would have usually beaten! Finished 13th behind about 6 GB internationals including two 1996 Olympians who were 2nd and 3rd...

Merry Christmas to all.
I have Christmas day at my Sister in Laws with 16 other members of the family. Apart from that it's long days in the office until New Year when I get 2 days up at the Old Course in St Andrews - looking forward to that.
