It's a shame about the way they've incorporated that vent as that coupé is an otherwise lovely clean shape.

That's a jolly nice example of an M4. The competition-pack alloys are much nicer than the heavy-handed standard alloys, and Tanzanite Blue is just very pretty. |

I prefer both generations of 4 door to 2 door, they look just different enough to the standard car but are still fairly subtle.

I preferred the last saloon but I think the coupe is the more attractive car this time. It's just a shame it's not called an M3 anymore as for me the M4 is always associated with a bus lane.

Might be a deal to be done, it’s been in my AT garage for 15 weeks. Looking at possible options for Lindsay, but I think it would have too big an impact on my budget.
There’s an almost racing spec (no sunroof) M3 for sale, British Racing Green with full Cohiba brown leather.

BMW does an "MPPK" dealer-fit performance upgrade for them that ups power to I think 360bhp and adds a sports exhaust, if the standard isn't quite strong enough. Personally I haven't felt the need thus far. In Sports+ it goes sufficiently like a stabbed rat to satisfy me.
It's just quite a significant step-up in price from a 440i to an M4, and I for one can't justify the additional expenditure. The monthlies on even an Approved Used M3/M4 in a decent spec are a good 40% higher than what I pay for the 440i.

No I haven't driven the 440i. The nearest I have been was an early E92 335i which wasn't slow at all.

I saw that one but on a steel roofed car I would want a sunroof and the white leather is just a bit too....white. Nice spec and exterior colour though. |

It must be £5-6k less than a discounted new one? It is a bit too white and not my choice if ordering new, but rather that than any of the Dakota options. Theres a black and brown one, but no sunroof on that either and I don’t like the nutmeg interior. |

No I haven't driven the 440i. The nearest I have been was an early E92 335i which wasn't slow at all.

The M4 that Racing linked to has shed nearly £30k and its not even a year old! By the time it has reached 3 that'll be less than £30k and will have lost £50k.
