After having the leather dash in the M5 (and the Z1), I was of a similar view but then didn't have the choice with the M135i and now realise that, all things being equal, my life is able to continue without a leather dashboard. It's a nice-to-have rather than an essential. I hope mine will be able to continue whenever I change the XFR (assuming its not for another one, which is a good possibility). I've grown quite fond of leather-everything... And a 500bhp V8... Though having car tax, insurance, two rear tyres, and the warranty all come up in the same month was a reminder that it's not exactly bangernomics, even if some aspects (fuel, servicing) are still considerably better than expected...

Is yours a Jag extended warranty? If so how much was it to renew? I'm wondering what mine will be in November when it runs out.

Just the sort of person from whom you'd happily rent a vehicle to entrust your life to, eh?

Recently visited a Citroen showroom, spent about 20 mins with the salesman. Was promised lease prices next day. Nothing.
Which is better than the Ford dealership where I gave up actually getting to speak to someone. Their switchboard number as advertised (a large group) on the website could not even get me to the correct showroom at first, then eventually I managed to find my way to used sales who would put me through to the new sales, which was a task beyond them before the line went dead.
