I dunno, stick some Audi badges on that and nobody would know plus it would get called unfussy and sleek (according to the latest CAR mag review of the fussy and over-detailed A5 hatchback).
I'm not sure why they'r eleaking such a poor quality image anyway, that doesn't look significantly different from the concept that got released years ago.

Perhaps insufficient internet 'chat' on the subject.

Something about that side view 3/4 angle is making me think of a Hyundai Veloster!

That looks like a lot going on in the front there.

To my eyes brands like Lamborghini and Porsche get completely lost in translation when they make an SUV - as a sports car they're really special, as a SUV they're just another ugly also ran.

It was worth repeating Good call on the Hyundai Veloster though. I think the black grille bits have the hexagon design that Lambo have adopted for those bits on other models. It might make it even busier when you get to see it clearly.

Having thought about it a bit, I have reverted to my first impressions. Someone had a lot of parts dumped in the stylist bin and thought they would use all of them. Far to short a thing for that much crud around the gills.

Boy, you sure is ugly.... Not sure that's come a surprise but what has is how cheap it looks. Elements like that plastic cladding as the rear diffuser look like something you'd expect on a budget cross over. This is my problem with manufacturers like Lamborghini doing trucks, its not that they're entering the market, it's that the products are so generic which is at odds with a supercar, it's just they're not special. I'm keen to see what Rolls Royce do for their as I think they might pull it off as they seem to have a better handle on what makes a car special.

I saw these pics yesterday and laughed out loud. What a revolting piece of shite.
I agree on the "it's not that special" when it comes to brand management. The Bentayga (spelling??) is just a vast and unpleasant box with some seats in it, although many would say that harks back to the era of the big pre-war "lorries" that ran at Le Mans and this thing is a vast and ugly box with some sharp edges to make it look "Lamborghini". To paraphrase something said on Twitter (by Harris I think): I don't dislike the designers and marketeers that come up with these big luxo-performance 4x4s but I do hate the morons that have made them de-rigeur in the line up of what are otherwise respectable car manufacturers.

Daming it with faint praise, it is not as ugly as I expected it to be from the leaked shots. But then, it's hardly a looker is it? Lambo's have always been (or intended to be) mental and / or edgy - rather hard to do that with an SUV.

Extensive use of aluminium and still 2200Kg....claimed.
Let's wait and see what it really weighs.
Good job it's on carbon discs - at 40mm thick up front, they'd weigh more than a small moon if they were steel.

Is it just based on the Audi Q7/VW Toerag/Porsche Cayenne/Bentley Bentgayer platform?
None of them is exactly svelte.

If I'm being honest then I'd say it's certainly not the worst one I've seen and if I REALLY wanted a performance SUV (and presumably didn't need loads of space) I'd certainly have this before a Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentgayer or BMW X6.

I think it looks absolutely tremendous. Save for the rear door handles which I agree could have perhaps been integrated into the c-pillars but everything else looks superb. Interior is a delight, probably one of the nicest interiors i've ever seen, just look at the terrain rocker switch and the 2-screens, they might be touchscreen but at least you get a separate one for the HVAC controls, looks high end and at £165k a relative bargain. Would you have this or the new high end Range Rover LWB Autobiog or whatever it's called at £177k? Italian all the way for me. Lotto winning first purchase. Forget the Bentley and the Aston Martin you can have the same power and transport the kids with a Lamborghini on your drive...that seals it for me. I love it
