I had to check the back of the BM last night to make see if someone had written "Golf drivers are wankers" or somesuch on it. I've been tailgated exclusively by Golfs several more times since my last post here!

Basically, the villain is anybody who thinks slammed cards are "cool". Followed a slammed Fiesta earlier - stupidly low, spacers on the wheels, weird camber, zorst, all the usual shyte. He had to slow to a crawl to navigate the speed bumps. Of which there are plenty on this residential street. Utter muppet.

The BMW 2 Series MPV thing that overtook the wagon and drag hauling silage on the country road today. I could see from some way back that there was a car coming the other way. BMW forced it to stop on the verge rather than abandon the overtake.

I've got to nominate Mrs Tim for this!
This morning on the way in to work we came to the busy crossroads about 1 1/2 miles from our house. We turn right here so I looked left and told her to go now if she could so she pulled out. When I then looked round I could see we'd pulled across the front of a car approaching from the right. I'm sure they didn't have to brake but I know I would've been mighty unimpressed, possibly on the horn, if I'd been them.
Apparently this was my fault because for some reason she didn't check to the right and thought I'd checked both directions despite me being the passenger.....

Thats why it's best not to get involved in your wife's driving! I do my level best to avoid being a passenger with mine.

We have quite a well oiled drill. I only look left and she looks right (if it's a busy junction). My instructions are "Clear Left" or just "No".
Had something been closer from the right, I am not sure how you would have been able to explain that on the insurance form without considerable marital strife!

That's what we normally do but for some reason this morning she just went. TBH she's usually extremely cautious with things like this and overtaking, at least when I'm in the car

I thought I was going to witness an accident this morning as I walked back home frm church.... Walking alongside the main road on the pavement, a car went past that I suspect was travelling at the speed limit or thereabouts (30mph). Not far from a right-hand T-junction with a side road, it put its indicator on just as a motorbike came up behind it "out of nowhere" doing well in excess of the speed limit and with a somewhat loud exhaust (no doubt illegal as it was a little painful on the eardrums). I suspect that the driver hadn't even seen the bike... fortunately the bike was travelling so far in excess of the speed limit that it passed the car just before the car started to move right, across the other side of the road to make the turn.... I wonder if the driver even saw the bike as it overtook the car

That'd be me today I think.
Pulled out onto the A92 and accelerated smartly to about 60 at which point I eased off because there was a tractor ahead and an upcoming corner. This didn't sit well with the silver Juke that had been approaching when I pulled out. Sure he wasn't miles away but by the same token he definitely wouldnt've had to brake and was only tailgating me because I slowed down for the tractor - which he would've had to do anyway.
Cue a load of Gareth Hunt type gestures, tailgating and dramatic edging out to pretend he was going to overtake despite there being either a blind, fast corner or something coming the other way.
This continued for a couple of miles before I got a chance to overtake the tractor.
I think my biggest crime was being guilty of owning a BMW.

Numbskull in the black Karoq, who decided pulling out to overtake something going 1mph faster, while a train of three cars going 20+mph faster was less than 100 yards behind, was a good idea. Note - it wasn't. Not even at your glacial speed of 58mph.

I was the villain today.
Have a Nissan Rogue as a rental and I was driving along, having just pulled out onto an empty road and then absent mindedly went to change gear, almost sending my parents through the windscreen as well as myself.
Thankfully nobody was behind us and my brain fart while driving an automatic didn’t cause any harm 😀
