Funny how they were certain that the lack of dredging had nothing to do with the floords last time round, yet places that perviously flooded but have since been dredged 9such as Somerset) haven't flooded this time, but others that haven't have.

It’s almost as if hundreds of years of experience is suddenly wrong. Is not part of the problem that dredged matter can no longer be piled on the banks and must be disposed of as waste?

It’s an EU directive that classified the dredged material as waste and so it has to be disposed of in a more costly way. The issue here is that changing the law after we have left could be interpreted as lowering our environmental standards. It’s another example of the green agenda riding roughshod over common sense.

Deer rescued after wandering into Mansfield police station www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-52798197"Animal chief inspector Simon Parker said officers had "no idea" how the animal got into the compound, which is surrounded by a 6ft (1.8 metre) fence." Bit in blue sounds better spoken than written down, in terms of relevance to the story

Bit in blue sounds better spoken than written down, in terms of relevance to the story CCTV in Newcastle captured deer wandering the streets around the Bigg Market in Newcastle, which is ironic as it is a favourite destination for Stag Parties.

Man who now hates social media adds to his record breaking number of social media posts to announce he's going to enforce stringent rules on social media providers www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52815872Does irony not exist at all in the USA?

Almost the first paragraph which states:
"When I went on the Andrew Neil Show last autumn, he asked me what solutions Extinction Rebellion had to offer to tackle climate change. Speaking for the organisation, I was careful not to say anything that was not backed by the movement’s declared policies, which are to leave it to Citizens’ Assembles to decide."
was enough to tell me that ER are just Communists trying to find another bandwagon to get them to the front! Citizen's Assemblies! I'm quite sure they had them in Communist Russia at first ensuring that anyone who disagreed was disappeared.

Not exactly a surprise and pretty much what the nay sayers were on about with Greta being better funded than she appeared or wants to be seen as. There is a lot going on under the radar from Russia and China imho.

They all seem to also be rather openly discontented with old Vlad's leadership before these accidents happen which is a rather odd coincidence. Either they all really did just trip or someone's telling porkies

I did extend this to another forum, an example of response.
"Perhaps he was just knockwursted down? Perhaps he was playing hide the salami with someone he shouldnt?
Probably had connections with organized crime - was he a gang-banger"?
