Running in service or running in check? Maybe not an issue. All M cars have a running in service with fluid changes. It doesn’t matter now but doing it that late would have voided the warranty The 1,200 mile service for M-Product is designed in order to remove any deposits within engine / gearbox / differential that occur naturally with the bedding in of new components

Cat S is written off for uneconomic repair costs but no structural damage. So if lots of panels and the windows are smashed with airbags deployed likely a Cat S. That's not right... the "S" is for Structural damage. Cat N is Non-structural damage Cat S and cat N can both be repaired and put back on the roads; it's generally the cost of repairs that makes them a write-off. Plenty of "sponsorship ads" on the internet at the moment, especially for Car Vertical make a play about not buying a Cat S car because it's been written off for structural damage, but the S means that although it has been structurally damaged, it is OK for it to be repaired and put back on the road, it's just that the insurers don't want to do this for cost reasons. In many other cases, cars are categorised as Cat N because the cost or providing a loan car will make the "repair" uneconomic. The fact that the cost of the repairs may be very little but the expected time taken for the rpair means that the loan car cost will be prohbitively expensive means that a lightly damaged car could be penalised by being written off as a Cat N although the actual repair costs are low and certainly not enough to be the sole reason to write the car off

That's a lot of car for the money. Dakota extended leather I think but it's the colour you wanted. It doesn't mention the service record though from what I could see.

Personally I don’t like that colour much but it looks like it has night blue leather, which is rare and rather nice.

This is my perfect spec but would prefer black rather than orange leather! It has full merino, blind spot assist and surround camera. The latter 2 are important in getting Mrs M behind the wheel....bit leggy though www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401265923938
