Great buy for the job you need it for. Interesting what you say about the ride on 17's - perhaps getting smaller wheels is the new "cool" as more and more people realise that big wheels = a worse ride on a lot of cars.

The washer Jets are part of the Winter pack (£345). I know this because I have trawled though historic price lists because I thought they were xenon only as well. If you are interested the family pack was £150, driver assistance was £550, park ass was £425, pano roof £900, power boot £350 (£450 with foot operation). Appearance pack £425, and white paint £250. Price assuming I have the right model year and date was £29595 otr + the options. Thanks. That soon adds up! There's a few of these optioned up like that, which can only mean Ford pushed them out to dealers to demo the options. I can't see lots of private buyers spending that.

I initially thought I would change the wheels but I can't see the point. I'm massively impressed by the ride quality, although the VRS was very much on the firm side (my VRS is currently on AT at 9995). There's a full set of Crossclimate SUV tyres being fitted on Thursday so it has matching rubber and tread depth all round for the AWD system. £521 (after 40 quid discount). Ouch. I did think about Vector 4Season SUV and there is a new gen 3 out but the price was higher and the range of SUV/XL/load ratings limited at the moment, so I went with Crossclimate as a known quantity. It is know known as The Fridge, being white and about as exciting as a fridge.

Kugas are nice to drive, especially the manuals.
Ford get the basics right almost all the time.

New tyres just being fitted. Philips Ultinon Pro9000 LEDs arrived yesterday but they need some adaptor rings to fit the mounting in the headlight which won't arrive until next week.
The economy isn't quite as good as I hoped it might be but it isn't exactly light weight. I'm rather enjoying the comfort, quietness and effortlessness of it, though, along with sitting high up. I now notice bits of countryside I couldn't see before!
