On the new Golf estate the roofline looks too high, the rear doors too long and the windows behind the rear doors are too short. Oddly proportioned to my eyes.
The new Mk4 Octavia looks great.

I peered through the window of a Mk8 GTI at the local dealership this morning.
Interior doesn't look too bad albeit a bit bare with no buttons on the centre.
Gearchange surround on the DSG (or is it full auto?) looked quite cheap and nasty and I don't like that the rear screen demist and a couple of other buttons have joined the fog light buttons hidden behind the wheel down to the right.
